"Accidentally Vegan FriendlyI have eaten here for over a decade as a vegetarian but had not as a vegan. When I did I found the food is consistently good and omnivore visitors with us enjoyed their meals, too. of the time I get take away. Staff is always friendly and cheerful. You will not find a better bargain with generous portions and reasonable/low prices. Don’t come here for atmosphere-basic surroundings, adequate seating but no ambiance.I had called ahead and verified their beans contain no animal products. When I arrived I asked to look at the wrapper the flour tortillas come in and verified they contained no animal products. I then ordered my usual bean burrito, “no carne”, no cheese, no sour cream but veggies are ok. The cashier then, like they always do, to make sure I am happy with my order, asks me if rice is ok, tomato, lettuce, cilantro etc. Like seconds later I was walking out with a custom made steaming hot bean burrito that is good for me for meals. I love this place!!!"

When eating here the service is excellent with terrific food that fills the eaters up and has enough left over for a take-home meal! One meal was $8, the other $16 change with both being delicious!

I was looking for a place to breakfast and this place came to my app! Luckily, I have no fear of coming outside my food convenience zone, but the truth said that I felt here with the authentic Mexican food at home.

If you are looking for a fancy pretty place to eat, this is not it. But the place is clean, the staff was friendly, and the food was delicious. Free chips and salsa. The carne asada torta was amazing. A lot of choices for tacos. Authentic Mexican prices well. View menu

south omaha edelstein. large small place in the heart of the Spanish/Mexico community south or the prices are very reasonable and the amount of food is abundant. catch them in Spanish-speaking T.V programs and enjoy their free salsas, chips and pfeffer and swirl. menu is first line in Spanish with clear English translation. drinks are Mexican products. the chicken Fajitas is actually a two-person court, but I also had the carnitas del puerco, which led to too much take-home.

absolutely vegan friendliness I have eaten here for over a decade as vegetarian, but had not as vegan. when I found that eating is consistently good and ubiquitous visitors with us also enjoyed their meal. 99% of the time I'm gonna take away. the personal is always friendly and cheerful. they will not find better negotiation with generous portions and cheap / low trips. do not come here for an atmosphere-basic environment, sufficient seating, but no ambiente. I had called and checked, their beans do not contain any animal products. When I arrived, I asked myself to get the wrapper the flour tortillas come and verified them did not contain any animal products. I then ordered my usual beans-bu...

"First, the restaurant is super cool. You enter and immediately see the open kitchen and bar below. We were seated with a great view of the working kitchen. It was our anniversary and they presented us with complimentary bubbly and a menu that read Happy Anniversary at the top. Our server was prompt and kind. We ordered apps and our meal at the same time. Apps were a little slow but we don 't mind taking our time. The andouille sausage over grits was good but a bit oversalted. The croquettes were good but somewhat mushy. Overall flavor profile was good. Some time passed after completing our appys and began to notice the kitchen plating dishes and entrees being served to every table except ours. Again, not in a hurry so we weren 't upset. But it became excessive. Large groups seated while we had appetizers were served their entrees. Small tables seated after we finished our appetizers were served. The kitchen can put out food fast, just not ours. So now our apps are expanding in our belly and our excitement about our meals are diminishing. Finally our entrees arrived. My snapper raw. So sad. The gnocchi was ok but again, way over salted. But the flavor profile was so good. This had the ability to be amazing. My husband ordered the wagyu flank steak. It was just not good. He barely ate one piece and left his sides as again they were way way over salted. Our server noticed that we barely ate our meals and spent time asking for feedback. She was very kind and the manager discounted my meal (which I did not want, but appreciate). Anyway, we probably won 't be back. Good presentations. Very good flavor profiles. Failure to deliver overall though due to extremely salty, improper cooking and extraordinary wait times. Hopefully they can improve as some other recent reviews reflect similar feedback."
