"I went to El Toro this afternoon after running errands all day in Ocala. It was quiet inside because the afternoon rush hadn't begun yet. My waitress was quick to get me seated and bring my drink to me. I had the beef fajita plate and it was loaded with delicious tender steak smothered with onions and green bell peppers . There was a second plate that contained refried beans, spanish rice, guacamole, and fresh chopped lettuce and tomatoes. Also warm tortillas. For a little over $20, it was a very delicious and satisfying meal and I will be back toEl Toro, hopefully for Cinco de Mio.If you go there, expect to enjoy yourselves and your meal. Wheelchair accessibility: Wheel chair accessable."

Stopped on our way to Silver Springs. Service is great and a huge selection of food to choose from. Pretty busy here for a reason. View menu

You can always rely on this restaurant for fresh, delicious food. Vegetarian options are not clearly labeled, but the staff is very accommodating and happy to create a vegetarian alternative upon request.

I had the largest portion of fajita fixings and meat I've ever encountered! It was also incredibly delicious! The waitress was warm, friendly, and very attentive. She had already warned me about the size of the fajitas, but I was still amazed! View menu

Me and my family had the carne asada taco dinner. The shell was hard and crispy then all the other time we order. The meat was chewy and dry. The beans were cold and the rice was cold. The whole meal was cold. This is however, the first time in over 4 years that we have ever had a bad meal here.

3 of us behind us were 2 people told 10 min. Mind you I speak Spanish. They didn't know that. In comes a party of 5 who seemed to know the staff. They were told 10 mins and then sat immediately. Be careful what you say when you dont know who understands. Used to go regular. NOT EVER AGAIN. My spends anywhere.

"Disappointed: Four of us dined there last night, and walked away very unimpressed. We each ordered an appetizer and four entrées, and a glass of wine ahead of time. The foie gras and escargots were nice. The imported French cheese plate had a Manchego, a Comte and another goat. Manchego is from Spain and the goat cheese was not French that we could tell either. You would expect a nice double cream, etc. These seemed like Sam’s buying club bought cheeses. When we asked the waiter. he really just shrugged his shoulders. We also also ordered the steak tartare. House grind good, but Very bland there should’ve been some seasoning mixed in with the meat. As for the entrées, we ordered a beef Bourguignon, which was the best of all four entrées. The mushroom Tajine, which was just used to serve the meal. It was not used to cook the meal in as customary. This dish lacked proper seasoning, and missing walnuts. the brie cheese they did put in should have had the rind cut off. I ended up with strands of rind in my dish. I did not finish it. We also ordered the cassoulet which was pretty clear they used canned beans, the duck Confit was not confit but roasted. It was served with a sausage that was std didn’t even ask or see the pork belly. . And lastly was the chicken airline breast. The Cremini mushroom demi glace, did not taste homemade but very familiar to a canned soup. I’m not happy having to give this review, but after spending over $300 on this dinner, I expected a better meal. One of our dinner guests that evening was a chef so maybe that didn’t help?"
