We had the best time here full of Christmas cheer. They never allow photos except for holidays which is fun because they decorated so brilliantly. The staff were all wearing fun sweaters and made great drinks. Hope to catch them again next year. Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The funny thing is you realize how often you want to look something up in Google. This is an amazing little place with friendly service and fantastic drinks. We didn't have a reservation but they were still able to seat us. I would recommend a reservation if it is a week day though. The seasonal menu is great! We met Cody on his second night working there and his drink making skills were already stellar. Once you are inside the experience is great. They take away your phones. My friends and I loved the digital detox although it came as a surprise. If you don't have a reservation, be prepared for a long line during the weekend time ~1hr). Although we complained in the line quite a bit, once, inside.. we considered it worth the wait. This was a fun experience. There is 1 line for those with and without reservations. They technically take those with reservations first, but it’s awkward. They only take one party at a time. The drinks were more bar standard than craft cocktail. They should work on improving the quality of the drinks and add mocktail options. All drinkseven the Negroni and martini seem to be more sweet than they should. Food: 4

Interesting concept to recreate a 1930s speakeasy. Well furnished with good service. Drinks are a bit expensive, but reflects the atmosphere. Sadly, my drink had bitter orange juice, but they were very apologetic and tried to make it right. Be prepared to wait in line to get in. It has limited seating. I was really looking forward to the experience (was recommended a place by a couple of people) but unfortunately was not allowed inside after waiting for 15 minutes. The reason for it: you have to have the passport to be allowed in (i’m 34 and I have an international driving license with me but it wasn’t good enough). We went to Alchemists garden after that and had a great experience (and no issues with ID checks). Lovely place and would 100% recommend

Great place must try if you’re in Paso Robles. Firstly, cell phones are not allowed inside so people actually talk to each other and enjoy their drinks and music. Instead of a bunch of tables that take up space, they’ve put L shaped countertops. No food served anyway so the countertops (or whatever the correct term is) work perfectly and free up space in the middle. First come first served and they don’t let people in unless other customers leave first but since attendance is limited to 90 mins there’s slow but inevitable turnover so just be patient.
