"Horrible management. I used to work there and have my own thoughts about the horrible management, but will keep to myself as this is about my brother who has autism. I decided to help him get a job up there because he needed somewhere close and something he believed he could perform well at. He’s worked other jobs before, including other fast food restaurants, and all have said he can perform his specified duties and perform them well. I talked to the GM for him, mentioned the autism and his work history, and he was hired by the GM. So at this point his autism is 100% recognized and acknowledged. He started Friday and I was told I needed to talk to him because “he wanted to keep talking to people about video games”, but did not say he performed poorly or not at all at his duties. Now I know he likes to talk about those types of topics a lot and sometimes can be agitating, but keep in mind he has autism, so this is not irregular. 2. While I don’t mind having that discussion with him, why would management not recognize this as their responsibility, which it is. This annoyed me, but I let it go and went on about my day. But then yesterday, Saturday Nov. 18th, they decided to let him go due to him apparently asking for weekends off going forward. 1. I fully believe the actual reason is due to the management not wanting to take the time to give extra training or give him a chance at all. 2. Once again, he has autism and is also a student at the local high school as a senior. So he also has school to focus on top of having a disability and now a job. The management was not willing to somewhat try to work with his request or give him a chance. Under the ADA act employers are required to give reasonable accommodations to employees with disabilities when requested. I’m not saying having both weekend days off every weekend is entirely reasonable, but they could have helped him in some way and fulfilled his reasonable request in some way. If you read all this and agree with me on the managements poor decision then I ask you please share this with all the locals of pickens, friends, anyone you know who eats at this specific Burger King etc. They need to be held accountable, especially since the poor management has been mentioned time and time again including when I worked there. Thanks!"

"Service slow and nonexistent. Food terrible. The pizza came to me after it had been sitting out for 15 minutes. You could touch the pan and pizza without feeling warmth. Horrible. A one topping pizza it didn't come with tomato sauce or any sauce. Straight up topping cheese bread. Terrible. The tables had trash on all tables. Had three wait staffs pass my empty glass more than three times each. Terrible place. DO NOT GO! You will NOT get your moneys worth. When the first thing you see says you will get a 4 percent discount if you pay in cash, it's a tell tell sign to turn around and grab a sandwich."

"I tried a selection of tacos: carnitas, pastor, and steak, all served on soft, warm corn tortillas with cilantro and onion. The red and green hot sauces were both delicious and just the right level of spiciness, so my wife could enjoy them too. I appreciate spicy food, and these sauces hit the spot. The tacos came with a basket of hot and crispy chips, which, while not my favorite style, were still enjoyable. We also received two salsas—one mild and one with a bit more heat—both of which were tasty. My wife ordered three beef tacos in crunchy shells, filled with a minced beef mixture and topped with sour cream. They resembled the tacos from Taco Bell but were likely more in line with what the locals enjoy. My wife loved them as well. We also appreciated the refried beans. Overall, the prices were very reasonable."

"i love the pizza here and the fact that you can carry out from the bar makes it so much more convenient to enjoy a variety of pizza while at work. i dined in one night and had Taylor as my server. she was nothing short of amazing and made it very clearthat her job was to make sure as a customer im satisfied, and she did just that. very outgoing personality, sweet and respectfulyoung lady. i would also like to acknowledge Ann for her hard work and dedication to her job. she made sure to keep the buffetin rotation with all kind of pizzas, something for everyone to enjoy. she offered to make a specialty pizza for me if i wantedit. she's a sweetheart as well and always a pleasure to deal with. i love the fact that these ladies take pride in their workand aim to please the customers. it just makes the food taste even better, lol ! as long as they're a part of pizza inn, i'llforever be a customer."

"My family and I visited Burning Brick Tavern last night around 7:30 PM, consisting of two adults and four kids. We started with appetizers—fried pickle chips and fried green tomatoes—but unfortunately, it took 45 minutes for them to arrive. By 8:30 PM, my two youngest children were very hungry and tired, yet our main food still hadn't come out. My husband asked the waitress to have our meals boxed to go. After another 20 minutes, our food finally arrived. We had ordered 16 wings, a French dip, a BLT, and a plain burger, resulting in a total wait time of 1.5 hours, which seemed outrageous given that the restaurant was not busy at all. While the food itself was decent and our waitress was very polite, we won't be returning to this restaurant. It’s not like we ordered a five-course meal for 20 people!"
