"I really love small businesses and supporting them so it makes me sad to give them only 3 stars. The food was pretty ok. The coffee was definitely not ok and when we served in disposable Styrofoam containers it was definitely a turn off for me and I considered leaving. Normally I try to eat more fresh local organic food at home and when out traveling. I'm sorry to say that this definitely wasn't that. Our waitress was great and was quite attentive despite being busy and the only waitress there. It's an ok spot but not necessarily for me. Maybe you will have better luck. Again, it's nothing personal. I believe my expectations jaded this experience. I'm not the same person if I don't get good coffee in the morning."

The food was excellent! My pimento cheese sandwich was great. My mother says her chicken livers, field peas and potato salad were delicious and tasted like home cookin' she's accustomed to. It gets an A+ from us!
