"We have been under strict quarantine because my husband works with extremely vulnerable individuals. We have not even been eating out anywhere. I decided for lunch on Thursday, April 9 to surprise him. My order was for $23.58. When I arrived, Irealized that there wasn’t curbside delivery and so I called inside and talked to the manager. I asked him if he could bringit outside of the shop since there were a lot of people coming in and out. He was nice and said sure. It was 11:20 and my subswere going to be ready by 11:35 or so. I waited in the front row by the window and saw a bunch of bagged orders on a table allnext to one another. I sat there for a while and I watched people come in and touch multiple bags trying to find their order onthe table. At almost 12:00, I tried to talk to someone inside of the store just in case my order was forgotten. No customerswere in the store and no one answered the phone when I called two times. I had to go into the store with my mask and gloves on.When I asked the employee about my order he said it was on the table. It was the bag I saw multiple people touching and Imentioned that concern. He told me that if I didn’t want people touching my food then maybe I shouldn’t be eating out rightnow. I asked for a refund and he said the manager would need to do that. I never received an apology or a refund. My nicegesture for my husband turned into a big disappointment. I would not have waited in my car if the manager hadn’t said he wouldbring it out. We live in the area and have had good experiences there before this time. I won’t be eating out anywhere now, Ican’t risk the lives of my husband’s clients. In this stressful time I wish there was more kindness. I am still hoping for arefund. As of 4-24-2020, no refund."

I prefer not to leave negative reviews, but my experience at Firehouse Subs was truly disappointing. I arrived around lunchtime and noticed there were only two employees working during what should be a busy period for a sandwich shop. As I stood in line, a woman in front of me was waiting for assistance, but no one came to help her. Two more customers entered and stood behind me. After ten minutes of waiting, the two customers behind me left in frustration. When another five minutes passed without any service, I decided to leave as well.
