Fisherman's - Menu

Delicious seafood! My husband enjoyed the Grouper cheeks and the fried shrimp were very good, too. They also have home made desserts.

The food here is incredibly fresh and made to order. The staff is extremely friendly, and the atmosphere is relaxed and inviting. The prices are surprisingly low for the high quality of the dishes you receive. This place is definitely one of the best-kept secrets in the area. Don't miss the crab balls!

Wonderful experience, great food and service. Pork Chops were juicy and perfectly cooked. Oh my goodness you should order the Sweet Potato side, beyond delicious! The fried green tomatoes were home made and not pre made, yum. Homemade hot bread with amouth watering butter to start (don?t eat too much) was take home worthy. We could not eat any of the many homemade desserts sowe took one to Go ! A return is in our future! View menu

I had a commendable experience with the waitress, but unfortunately, the food left much to be desired. I ordered the grouper cheeks, but found that there was more breading than actual fish. The real issue, however, was the presence of sugar ants everywhere—on the table, the salt, the ketchup. Because of that, I won't be returning. On a positive note, the outdoor seating area was nice, and there were rentals available on-site.

We were told to sit wherever, sat there for 10 minutes. We sat right in the center of the restaurant near the kitchen door. So we were definitely seen by the workers no excuse there. Not given menus and not asked what we wanted to drink. Two women walked in and they immediately had a table cleaned off for them, were given menus, and asked what they wanted to drink. That’s when we left, we were truly excited to eat here but this ruined it. We definitely won’t be returning and won’t be recommending. On our way to Cedar River!

It was a decent place. Pretty clean and maintained. Food was decent nothing special to talk about. Service was good. I gave it a 3 cause the bathroom was muggy and hot no a/c and the food was decent. We had coconut shrimp, peel n eat and Buffalo Bleu cheeseshrimp. The sauce for the Buffalo Bleu cheese was good. We got gator bites for an app they were chewy and fishy tasting. Theyhad homemade cakes we got banana walnut and German chocolate. The German chocolate was hard and dry and the banana walnut had somuch moisture it tasted like a smooshed banana. When I arrived at the restaurant a little early, I was pleasantly surprised by its charming, homey interior. I received warm greetings from various staff members, including the chef, who was busy preparing orders in the open kitchen. This was by far the friendliest restaurant I’ve walked into in years! Although my order had been placed hours earlier, it was still being prepared since I had arrived early. I took a seat at the bar and noticed the enticing selection of perfectly sliced cakes and pies in the dessert display. The waitress informed me that they were all made in-house. I simply LOVE soft shell crabs. Usually, I have to travel about an hour to find them, but I heard, right here on Google Maps, about Fisherman's Cove, AND that they have soft shell crabs, AND THEY'RE ONLY 10 MINUTES FROM MY HOME! So, of course I had togive them a try. I called a few hours before I actually wanted dinner, simply because I was so excited and wanted to make surethey really DID have soft shells.
