"My sister, her goddaughter, and I decided to stop by for a quick bite and a drink one early evening. They mentioned they were in the process of setting up for the evening and weren’t quite ready for customers. We completely understood and were about to leave when Lance called us back, apologized, and offered to accommodate us despite the preparations. Now, let's talk about the food—it was incredible! The oxtail was so tender it literally fell off the bone, and the snapper was fried to perfection; just how my sister likes it—crispy and dry! The rice and peas were delicious as well. The drinks were flawless; you can tell they don't serve any watered-down beverages. This was my third visit, and I can confidently say that I will become a regular. It’s a fantastic place with friendly and accommodating staff, including the owner. Thank you, Lance, for making our experience at your restaurant so enjoyable!"

The food and atmosphere were fantastic. Our server was knowledgeable and presented us with choices that weren't even listed on the menu. It was an exceptional experience—definitely one of my favorite lunch spots in NYC. While the portion sizes aren't huge, the quality of the food is outstanding. View menu

I had my daughters graduation party at Fish Eye Bar Grill on Sunday September 4th right before Labor Day and owner Dave give the date I wanted without any problem. I used Fish Eye's food menu and that was great! Everything was on time and proffesstional. I recommend Fish bar and Grill to anyone for parties.

Wonderful night. This lounge is a Great find in Brooklyn. The food is amazing far beyond expectation. Especially geared towards Caribbean seafood dishes . I had the shrimp with stuffed crab meat and spinach for dinner and the salmon balls for an appetizer. The food was delicious and so was the price. They have a fully stocked bar and great drinks. Try it next time your in the area, you won't be disappointed! I certainly wasn't.

The only downside was that our food took a bit longer to arrive than I had anticipated. However, a staff member named Jeanette came by our table to introduce herself and check on us. When we mentioned that our food was delayed, she explained that most dishes are made to order and went to the kitchen to follow up on our order. She returned in less than three minutes to let us know that our meals were being plated, for which we were grateful. Jeanette also checked in with us again after we finished eating to ensure everything was satisfactory. The wait turned out to be worth it, as the food was delicious and packed with flavor. My friends and I are eager to return within the next two weeks.... View menu

Valentine's Night Was Great. On Valentine's day my husband and I went to Footprints but when we got there the wait time was too long. My husband then suggested to go to Fish Eye where he had been to a couple of times to have a drink, but he never ate there. We decided to go to Fish Eye, and we were greeted by a tall slender gentleman who we later found out was one of the owners. He brought us to our seat and a waitress came over shortly with a menu. Overall my experience there was great and I was glad my husband had suggested to go there. The food and service was good, the price was very reasonable, and the music was very appropriate for the occasion. I will definitely be going to Fisheye for...

"When we called to reserve a table, no one informed us that there was a dining time limit of 1.5 hours. My friend wanted to invite more people to join us for dinner, but I was unsure if everyone would agree to the minimum charge of $60, including taxes and tips. I confirmed a reservation for 7 people during my second call, but ultimately, only 6 of us showed up. The table we were given was quite small, making it uncomfortable for six people, especially with the mandatory minimum spending of $60, as well as a 20% tip. For just two people, the minimum tip is 18%. I was confused about the dining time limit—was it two hours or 1.5? The party area was limited to just the backyard for additional seating. I was with friends who didn’t know the group well, and we arrived early at 3 PM, but we couldn’t wait until 6:30 PM. That’s why we ended up sitting at a separate table for two. Unfortunately, the restaurant didn’t seem to care and couldn’t arrange for us to be seated closer together. We had no choice in the matter. To make matters worse, the female waiter had a poor attitude. It felt like we were dining in a sidewalk market. She questioned another girl who served me ponzu sauce, apparently because I looked impatient when I saw her face. Her attitude only worsened after that. It seems like they need to train their employees better, as they seem unaware of how to provide good service. As for the food, it was just okay, typical of basic Japanese cuisine. There were too many restrictions! Customers are forced to adhere to the restaurant’s rules and limitations. I cannot recommend this place unless someone is specifically looking for a fast-food experience. In short, I don’t think I’ll be returning next time."
