"This restaurant prepares traditional recipes without skimping on ingredients or overwhelming the dishes with excess. Their blend of spices is perfectly balanced, creating a symphony of flavors that will delight your taste buds. I've tried Chinese food all over Phoenix, but I have yet to find a place that can match the talent, menu variety, and quality of food here. The staff is always welcoming and friendly, contributing to a pleasant dining atmosphere. Don't miss out on this gem if you get the chance to visit. No matter what you order, everything is delicious! My personal favorite is the Singapore rice noodles with all three meats. Very few places in town serve this dish, and none compare to what they offer. Be sure to tip well, as they truly deserve it!"

Very good food.. this was my first time ordering. Crab rangoon is a must actual crab and not just cream cheese. Shrimp were huge.. give this an A+ and we will keep ordering. View menu

Really can’t complain. Got a couple lunch specials as takeout and everything seemed like your average, run-of-the-mill local Chinese takeout restaurant. Came off of a recommendation which I’m usually skeptical of, but they were pretty good

Great Chinese food. Large portion sizes. The remains of a two-person dinner lasted us for 2 days. The service was decent when considering that they were exchanged. The absolutely best part about the experience was to have tea in the end. The tea was amazing.

This is probably the best Chinese food I've ever had. The Szechuan scallops were incredibly flavorful and delicious. While they weren't as spicy as I would have liked, the taste was outstanding. There's also just the right amount of sauce left after finishing the scallops, which is perfect for pouring over your rice for an even more delicious meal. View menu

We had a wonderful dining experience! We enjoyed a family dinner, starting with a delicious hot and sour soup. For our main courses, we ordered shrimp fried rice, mu shu pork, and flamingo chicken. The flamingo chicken was particularly memorable, and we would definitely order it again. The staff was friendly, and the restaurant was clean and beautifully arranged. Our meal for two came to $42 before tip.

I have no idea how this can be rated this high. The house fried rice is literally gross. I asked for it extra spicy and it had no extra seasonings in it at ALL. The chili oil was probably 80 years old and not kept well.Best part of this meal was Crab puffs that were not even made at that restaurant. You'd figure that they would have to sell some decent food to pay rent on that place but it's obviously just a front.

"i’ve been coming to lacuna for over two years now and this little gem is definitely one of my favorite places to be. i’m not much of a review-writer, but when i feel passionately about places (good or bad , i get inspired.as someone who leads an alcohol-free lifestyle, it is SO nice having this option to unwind and create some art, relax, or hang out with friends. i’ve truly made so many wonderful connections through lacuna that i will cherish for a lifetime!it’s also a great place to get work done. i work remote, so i spend a good majority of my week here at my second office ; the BOGO happy hour deal comes in clutch.i think it’s really great that there is a mix of events now too, not just strictly DJ’s performing 6-7 nights a week. (although i do absolutely love the nights when there’s a DJ as well ! the variety of events is great; chess tournaments, community coloring, workshops, recovery groups, massages, yoga etc. there’s been a lot of engaging activities that i enjoy attending or participating in.i feel like lacuna has become a lot stronger in both the workspace and community-front in the last year or so too. the kavatenders all have such a warm and positive energy and always make me feel special when i come in. it’s nice seeing management interacting with customers and staff more too. it’s nice overhearing the positive feedback from management to staff (or staff to staff , and hearing the conversations that the staff members have with guests. there just seems to be a lot more connection overall. lacuna is growing and glowing for sure. <3the price increase is a bit of a bummer, but in a time with inflation… what can you really do? i personally TRUST lacuna with their product and that’s what keeps me coming back. i know they put both quality and care into their products and it really reflects. it can be a pretty penny if you’re getting multiple drinks, but fancy craft cocktails at a regular bar can be the same way. plus, my points add up so quickly i get pretty frequent discounts with their reward system. it’s not the end of the world!i appreciate the subtle changes in the bar layout and decor too. even the little things keep it feeling fresh and a little new each time you come in.the *only* “negative” thing i have to say about the space is that it can be difficult to order a drink or close out a tab sometimes. there’s rushes and it gets busy, but sometimes it feels as if one staff member just isn’t enough during these times. sometimes there’s not a lot of communication about this either between staff and people trying to close out, but i’ve been coming here for awhile now so i know what to expect. if you’re in a time crunch, just give yourself a little buffer or cushion of time to get closed out (or order to go right off the bat and close out immediately .all things considered, though, 5 stars all the way around! lacuna is an ever-evolving, ever-growing spot and i’m excited to see what the future looks like for you guys! : bulaaaa!!!!"
