"I have gone to this bakery since they opened for their delicious breads, croissants, cookies, savory items, even fresh eggs from Pennsylvania. I love their variety and how fresh and delicious everything is. They really have a lot of great items to choose from. Recently, I ordered a custom cake for a party and it was the freshest and most delicious cake that I have ever had at any function in my life. It was a strawberry shortcake full sheet cake. The whipped cream was so delicious and fresh, the sponge was so tasty and airy, and the strawberries were clearly freshly cut and high quality. It was so so good!! Everyone loved it. I'm not usually a fan of cake, but this was amazing, and I would eat it every day. Literally the best cake I ever had! Not only that, but everyone was very helpful and accommodating with my requests. Paula went above and beyond with the decorations. It was a retirement party for my parents, and I wanted symbols that represented their very different occupations. Paula was very creative and my parents loved it. The price was also reasonable. I highly recommend this bakery for all your party and entertainment needs or just for a coffee or a treat. I’m so lucky to have them right in my neighborhood!"

I love this bakery! I come to get snacks while I study at the nearby library. Everything is home-made, fresh, and delicious. My favorite dessert is the Portuguese custard tart. The place is clean and the music playlist is good. The staff is very friendly.

I really love this place! They offer my favorite homemade baked goods from around the world at great prices. Their selection of small bags filled with various cookies is fantastic. My friend couldn't stop talking about a custom gift tower of sweets they made for her, and it was surprisingly affordable!

I work at Union Square and this morning I bought what I have to say is the BEST Danish I've ever had... and I've had a few. It was Apricot with the perfect amount of almond. I absolutely adore this bakery; their butter croissants are the best I've ever had! However, I wish the staff would receive better training on how to make iced lattes. Every time I visit, the drink turns out differently, and it would be much better if there were some consistency. I can never be sure of what I'll get when ordering my latte. For instance, today it tasted more like iced coffee with milk, as the barista pulled the shots over a full cup of ice before adding the milk.

On Monday, February 20, 2023, I visited the NYC Union Square Market on Friday and sampled several treats from Francesca's Bakery. I tried their cider doughnut and raspberry-filled doughnut, both dusted with granulated sugar, as well as a blueberry cornbread. I believe the raspberries and blueberries are sourced from local farms. The doughnuts were enjoyable, although a bit on the sweet side, while the cornbread was pleasantly low in sugar but packed with flavor from the abundant blueberries. It was made primarily with real corn and a bit of wheat.
