"I had a terrible experience at this restaurant. The food was dreadful, and the service was worse. The cashiers didn’t even seem to know the menu. I ordered queso, but what I received was just processed cheese. I also asked for guacamole, which was advertised as $1.50, but they charged me $7.00 for just 8 ounces! It felt like the guacamole was overpriced and barely worth it. Overall, the tacos were so tough that I had a really disappointing meal. I won’t be returning."

The worst I've ever tasted in Dallas; I will never order birria tacos again.

Really awesome tacos. This place has the efficiency and speed of a fast food place but the quality of a fine dining restaurant. Would 10/10 recommend! View menu

Don't expect a real street taco place, this is just another chain type prepared food restaurant. Not as bad as taco bell tho. Not too bad but not the best either.

The staff seems unfamiliar with the menu and lacks enthusiasm in assisting customers. There was no salad dressing available for the salads, and the queso was so salty that it was inedible. View menu

I absolutely love this place and make it a point to eat here once a week. You have to try the Chicano fries with barbacoa, but my personal favorite is the birria tacos – they’re simply amazing!

"On my first visit, I tried the Southern Shrimp and Grits, which were simply amazing—stone-ground cheese grits topped with sautéed shrimp, enhanced by a flavorful mix of peppers and bacon. Chef Jeff and his team use fresh sirloin in their chili, and it’s absolutely delicious! The portions are generous, so you definitely won't leave hungry. The food is exceptional, and the concept behind it is truly inspiring. I now volunteer here regularly. Chef Jeff and his wife, Julie, have a mission: "Our mission is to feed, educate, and serve our community so that they may 'taste and see that the Lord is good'” (Psalm 34:8). Customers can choose to: 1) pay what they can afford, 2) pay the standard price for a similar restaurant, or 3) pay a little extra to help those who are less fortunate. This creates a beautiful and fulfilling experience. They are open for lunch from 11 AM to 2 PM, Tuesday through Sunday. If you’re pressed for time, I recommend making a reservation and letting the hostess know. Diners are seated using a "paced method" to ensure the volunteer staff isn’t overwhelmed, but any wait is certainly worth it! Be sure to try the pour-over coffee or refreshing lemonade, and sample small plates like bruschetta or farro salad, as well as main dishes such as the apple bacon sandwich, crispy potatoes, burgers, shrimp and grits, and chili. And don’t overlook the dessert—it’s indulgent! I can’t express enough how much I adore this place!"
