"bar in the worst Texas ever. only stopped to use the bathroom. this cheap bar has only one bathroom. the “Boss” who worked a bar-sighting position claimed his name as “BK”. He beat like the police on the toilet door and shouted a girl at a time. None of us knew that was even a rule because it was our first time there. After leaving the bath, I decided to order a drink and then quickly changed my mind. the demon of this man was the worst demon anyone could possibly have. the bathroom was also extremely disgusting. So he sung a female who stepped on the bathroom, which I had badly crushed. “BK” decided to scream to me that he will do everything he wants, if I asked him, please not knock on the door again. cockroaches and dirty tables and floor."

Sorry but could there be a different Dj for a change? Or maybe different music nights. Edm, country or rap ? Anything but the same 3 pop songs

Barely anyone cared to put their masks on when not seated at a table. No social distancing. The people huddled together like sardines. If you wanting a night out, but don't want the rona, avoid this place.

that was my first time to come here, but I'm not going to go back in a way. the bartenders ignored my friends all night (we are black) every time we approached the bare they would see that we serve others around us all night. they want to think that racism is dead, but then that happens.

Great bar. Been coming to this bar for 3 years, never had an issue until last night. I purchased an energy drink, closed my tab and was about to leave. Bar bouncer stops me and tells me I cant leave with it. I tell him I just purchased it and its nonalcoholic. He grabs me, pushed me inside and took away my drink. Like dang. View menu

the first time since I came after denton two years ago, and in order to be honest, I was not gone. the atmosphere is okay, but what really made me write that is the bad/weide/outdated? music they play. it is all repetitive, and not really good to dance or maintain a atmosphere in excitement. may they come here if they're so drunk?

tavern is undoubtedly the best bar in denton. the employees are undoubtedly helpful and always help, no matter what. if a conflict happens, the employees will make sure they take care of it immediately. it is very clean and the music is great. not to mention the owner is really cool and always standing by the man's bathroom being social with all customers. fry street tavern is the best bar on the strip and the best bar in denton

"I had a great time with my friend at Komodo Loco. The interior felt like something you might see in Austin or Colorado moody lighting with cool artwork. First things first, I was hoping that we would sit in the front area of the restaurant where things were happening but we were sat in a back room down tue hallway which you couldn't even tell existed. It was super dark and not as appealing as the front of store which was a bummer. I could've said something but it ended up okay in the end. Our waitress was good about checking up on us so we appreciated that. Let's talk about food and drink. For the cocktail, I got the berry drink at first which was gin and blackberries and blueberries I believe. I wasn't a huge fan, but I was able to switch it out with the Japanese whiskey drink which was a whole lot better 6.5/10 The food was overall delicious. I got the slammin sake roll which was me and my friends favorite a spicy salmon roll that had just the right amount of kick to it 9/10 I also got sashimi with mango it was not bad; fresh but definitely not as tasty, complex or worth it to me compared to the previous roll 6/10 Finally I got the tuna maki since I was still hungry. It was probably the worst roll of the bunch. It was the cheapest and the seaweed was chewy and hard to bite through. My friend got a specialty featured roll that had mango in it (I forget the name) but it was delish. 7.5/10. The kicker to all this was that I asked for sauces and was not told ahead of time that I would be charged for it. Again I didn't say anything at the time because it was only 25 cents per sauce but just the fact that I was told beforehand was not great. They should tell guests if something is extra I've never been charged for extra sauce on the side at any other restaurant ever. Overall a good experience with a few tweaks this could be 5 stars for me maybe I would give it another try in the future"
