"Really enjoy this little spot in Brandywine. Authentic recipes prepared fresh in an open kitchen. Welcoming staff and atmosphere. Liked it so much been there two weeks in a row. Portions are good and have had plenty to take home. Vegetarian options: Lots of good options that include rice noodles tofu etc Kid-friendliness: Because th times we’ve been there people have had kids and the staff has been welcoming and patient explaining the menu and making suggestions. Parking: If you can’t find a spot along the front side there is plenty of parking behind and it’s easy to walk around."

"Meal Type: Takeout Lunch Price Range: $10–20 I had a fantastic experience with my takeout lunch! The food was outstanding, earning a perfect rating of 5. The Chicken Teriyaki was exceptional, and the Hibachi Chicken Roll was equally delicious. The service was also top-notch, deserving a 5 as well. I appreciated the prompt and friendly assistance during my order. The atmosphere, although I experienced it only through takeout, seemed inviting and welcoming. I highly recommend trying the Chicken Teriyaki and Hibachi Chicken Roll!"

"The food is 1 star because I never got it The service is 1 star because the worker in the drive through was either on the phone or talking with a coworker in her headset, laughing in my face asking me the same question multiple times because she couldn’t hear me over her conversation. the atmosphere is a 1 because I placed my order in the mobile app , paid, and headed to the restaurant got here about 6 min after breakfast ended, got in the drive through just for that same worker to tell me all breakfast orders have been canceled (after finishing up her conversation of course). But it never got cancelled in my app.i wouldn’t have kept driving here if I had seen my order had been cancelled. So either the system connecting the store to the app is flawed or they didn’t feel like making my order. talked to the manager, he was completely oblivious I had to re explain everything to him like 5 times and he was still No. Help. At. All. It sounds like he may be new and that’s fine but he may need more training or maybe he just didn’t care to help. I had to drive off pull over elsewhere and cancel my order myself because IT WAS NEVER CANCELLED !!!! And after all that what is just blowing my mind the most is the drive through worker talking to someone else while I’m trying to tell her the name for my order. Like hello?? I’m invisible? Oh ok got it. I didn’t know I developed a superpower while sitting in this drive through line. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1"

"Goodness, I love the New York Deli! The food is fantastic, and the service is excellent. I ordered several Subs, Chef Salads, Brownies, and Baklava for a business meeting last night, and everyone raved about the large portions and how great everything tasted. I have also had New York Deli provide catered food for my brother's celebration of life and other important events. I love the traditional Italian Sub and the Archie Bunker on their fresh baked huge sub rolls, and the Reuben sandwich is as traditional as can be. Their house made Antipasto Salad is to die for, and their Chef Salads are enormous and perfect for two people or lunch for two days! Oh, and their breakfasts are delicious as well stop in an get an Egg and Sausage sandwich or a stuffed Omelette on your way to work! I know getting to the little White House with the Taxi Cab at the Brandywine intersection is more challenging now that they built the darn overpass. But I promise you it's 100% worth it! Stop in and discover why the locals go there for the best food this side of New York! Vegetarian options: Salads are huge and beautiful!"

"Overall, the restaurant has seen a decline since COVID hit. Before the pandemic, it was a balanced restaurant and carryout spot, but now it feels more like a carryout place with limited dining options. This change might explain why they didn't renew their liquor license, which means if you dine in, you won't have any beer to enjoy with your ribs—doesn't that feel a bit un-American? The atmosphere has shifted as well; it's no longer vibrant or inviting, making it less appealing to sit and enjoy a meal. While I was there for lunch with about a dozen others, the meat dishes were outstanding, receiving a solid 5/5. The people who had the fried fish, both whiting and catfish, found it perfectly cooked. Those who ordered ribs really enjoyed their meal and still had leftovers to take home. The pulled pork was equally satisfying. However, some sides were disappointing, scoring only a 3/5. I wouldn't recommend the mac and cheese, which was a messy, greasy disaster. The fried cabbage also missed the mark for me. On the other hand, the fried pork skins were excellent; they were complimentary for our group, and I would gladly pay over $5 for them again. If you plan to eat in, I recommend calling ahead to make a reservation or discuss your options, as the staff mentioned they don’t accept walk-ins. Our waiter did an excellent job, especially considering it was his first time, and the whole team worked well together to accommodate us."
