Usually have a specialty burger...elk, buffalo or boar, but went with the fish chip today. Was excellent. The batter was crisp and the fish was moist.

Friendly staff. This place is probably one of the cleanest restaurants Iv seen in forever. Props to the owner/manager for the hard work. I will be back.

Quick service and love the help yourself topping bar for the burgers!Dietary restrictions: They have one of the best gluten free buns I have had in a restaurant.

Pretty good burger! The place could use some deep cleaning but it's not disgusting. I like the variety of different types of meat. And the condiment bar is the best. View menu

Great meal. The fixing bar was very fresh and the bbq burger was delicious. The staff was friendly and the dining area clean. We will stop in again the next time we are in York.

I arrived 20 minutes before closing only to find the doors already locked and couldn’t get in. Just two days ago, I ordered a gluten-free bun but was served a regular one instead. That's unacceptable!

The place was pretty empty so service was pretty good even though sign on the door let’s you know that they are working short and your wait time may be a while. I’m sure that’s true if you go here on a busy day, night, weekend. View menu

I only chose 1 star because zero was not an option. The only good thing about the restaurant was the young lady that took our order, she was friendly. The food was pretty much inedible, the bun was stale and the fries were gross.

Kid-friendliness: There are a few arcade claw machines and some quarter toy machines for the kids to enjoy. Parking: The parking lot is well-organized, with several spots conveniently located near the entrance for those with mobility issues, as well as hundreds of additional spaces within 100 feet of the restaurant. Wheelchair accessibility: There is a wheelchair ramp at the curb, and there are no steps to navigate beyond that.

"First time visiting this restaurant. We came with friends who had been there before. Food: my wife and I both got the crab soup which, by itself, is 5 stars. Very creamy, not thick or pasty like typical cream soup base soups. I got the NY strip steak, something I rarely do, but took a chance. Ordered it very, very, rare and it came cooked a little more than I would have liked, but still in the neighborhood of rare. It was very good, the spinach and fingerling potatoes were top notch. My wife got the fish and chips. French fries, not chips, were acceptable but not exceptional. The fish was firm but a bit dry. You can almost see that in the picture. Another in our party got a mushroom ravioli dish which was phenomenal...I tasted it. My friend got the short rib which he said was wonderful but I did not try it. Service: this was lacking. Our server was just fine but I suspect slowed significantly by the kitchen. Our appetizers came staggered...it should not have taken 20 minutes to get soup.(The restaurant was not slammed) She came to the table at one point and apologetically told us the soup would be ready soon. I saw several orders of oysters delivered to other tables but did not see them on the menu anywhere. The two issues that reduced the rating from 5 to 4 stars was the service speed and the dry fish. I would certainly go there again. The prices were appropriate."

"The restaurant’s doors were locked at the time it was scheduled to open, and the staff arrived late, struggling to get their colleagues to unlock the door. When I requested a table, I was informed that I could be seated in an hour, despite the restaurant being empty. Walk-ins were not accommodated, and I had to personally research and secure an open table reservation, bypassing the hostess’s information by 30 minutes. This created confusion and contributed to an overall poor experience with no clear explanation. I also overheard other patrons voicing concerns about the apparent disorganization. Considering this is one of the most expensive dining experiences in York County, the service did not match the high standards expected. However, the food was exceptional, and the presence of regular patrons suggests a loyal customer base. The bartender was polite, and while the restaurant has a rich history, it seemed few staff members were aware of it, which could enhance the overall experience and connect more deeply with local culture. Rather than remembering the meal I remember the experience which made the ticket I paid not worth it. I’m sure there would have been a smoother experience if I made a booking prior and had less interactions with the staff. Expect to pay $75 per person with a full course and drinks. My ticket was $130 with tip."
