"In case you don't want to read the whole thing: The old place (Phi Vietnamese was AMAZING and this new place is gross. Won't go here again. I LOVED Phi Vietnamese (previous restaurant before it was sold and rebranded . I was a regular there and the Pho was great. Most items on their menu were amazing (the ones I tried and they were known for their savory crepe. I hadn't been aware they'd sold, but the menu looked pretty much the same so my boyfriend and I decided to give it a try (though I had low expectations because I loved Phi Vietnamese so much. What was the likelihood the recipes would be the same under new owners? Why even keep the same recipes if you can't do them as well? Atmosphere: Sad. First and foremost, I know the place is relatively new, but I think a prison has more character and decorations. This could be that they are new and haven't finished furnishing though, so I won't hold that against them too much. Service: Lacking. The one person working didn't understand a ton of stuff and (despite being the only people in the restaurant was not attentive at all. We had to go up to her to get things for our table. The Food: We ordered the savory crepe, fried beef dumplings. I got Pho and my bf got a sausage vermicelli bowl. The savory crepe was DISGUSTING. It was basically an egg omelet with wayyy too many bean sprouts inside. There was no crispiness, or really any flavor except eggs. If you were a fan of Phi Vietnamese crepe, DON'T GET THIS. You'll be super disappointed. The dumplings were Ok. Normal for dumplings. They were fine. I was excited for the Pho, because I love Pho and Phi Vietnamese had the best Pho in Doylestown and surrounding areas. Let me tell you, the Pho now is gross. Bland, the color was practically clear and all of the hearty and in-depth flavor was not there. It was a MAJOR disappointment. 100% not worth the price. Not to mention that I asked for the noodles on the side because I don't like a ton of them, and the waitress didn't understand and served them in it. Not the end of the world, but something they didn't struggle with before. My bf's bowl was good, except they gave him beef instead of sausage. It was nicely seasoned, so that's why they get an extra star. Bottom line, if you liked Phi Vietnamese, do not go here. I will never go here again. Overall, super sad that Phi is gone and this place's food def wasn't worth the $60. I will be searching for a new place for Pho."
