"The wife and I finally had the nerve to venture out for the first time Saturday a week ago since this COVID thing has been going on. We were going to a movie and wanted to go somewhere for a quick bite of food. Since we live about five blocks from Geno's on Rogers Avenue we decided to stop there. We walked in and the first thing that caught our eyes was all of the food bits that was on the floor. We really wanted a salad until we looked at the salad bar. There was food EVERYWHERE. All over the bar, floor, there were food items mixed with other food items, it looked like nothing had been wiped down and cleaned in a week. There was no adult present that we saw only teenage girls. We were the only two people in there at the time and there is NO excuse for a food establishment to look like this. I ordered a slice and my wife ordered spaghetti which we had to wait at least 15 minutes to get. I just looked around the restaurant in general and I can safely say we will NOT be going back there."

Great prices! 2 slices of pizza, salad bar, and drink for like $10. I gave my 2 smaller kids the pizza and just had the salad bar for myself.

It is so disgusting the grease from the pizza is literally dripping off of the pizza. You can get acne just by looking at the pizza. I promise you if you ever go there you'll be very disappointed it is so disgusting.

The building was a bit warm because the air conditioning was out of order, but the cashier was very kind and took my order quickly and efficiently. Despite hosting a birthday party, the service remained excellent. Great job, ladies! The prices were also very reasonable, with pizza and a drink for just $5. View menu

always clean, always friendly and the pizza is always hot, tasty, fast and affordable! yummy and the salatable are always good and refreshing! Honestly speaking, each location was good, especially in greenwood! the only recommendation I have for this particular place is to clean the tablet that holds the forks. there were crumbs in there, but that could have happened again. no biggie.

I ordered a simple pizza for pickup, and by the time we reached the window, the woman was already holding out the entire pizza to give us – but it was the wrong one! How can they be so eager to hand out the wrong order? Not only that, but they were incredibly rude and gave us the wrong change too. This isn't the first mistake I've experienced at this place, but it will definitely be the last time I go back.

Genos is a right to go through Fort Smith. When you could get a slice in the Central Mall, every child lived in the city on pizza. You can smell the nostalgia when you open the box. You need napkins to soak the paprika fat, but why do you want it different? With a thin crust and ranch as good as you want to buy a bucket of it, you will use this pizza as a ranch blade in seconds. Stop eating other places and getting some genos! View menu

I ordered a pizza at 8 PM one evening, and it seemed like the staff were frustrated to be working, as they didn't even bother to cut the pizza. Moreover, if you call after 8 PM—even just a minute past—they let the phone ring for as long as possible in hopes that you'll hang up. They are literally losing business this way. I really like Geno's, but it’s clear that the young staff members here aren’t motivated and would rather not be working. I worked in a pizza place as a teenager, and it's not that difficult!

the staff was super friendly and helpful. slices of pizza are $3,50 I ordered a piece of cheese and sausage to go. the staff recommended to get ranch and parmesan cheese, which I did doubtfully. I returned to my hotel ca. 1/2 mile back and the discs needed to microwave. the discs were ok a good size and not greasy, but also not terrible unforgettable. the restaurant also had an salatable, which was well filled, but really had to be cleaned. for a quick entry and exit the job was done. I wouldn't turn it off if it was offered, but I wouldn't be looking for it specifically.

"Hadn’t been to Benson’s in a while, it’s a small restaurant and usually busy, but I had read some comments lately about how good the food is, so my son, granddaughter, and I tried it on a Saturday morning about 10am. Had to wait 5 minutes for a table. The waitstaff moved quickly and efficiently and were very welcoming and very attentive. They moved about the small space with the intention of keeping the customers fed and taken care of. The restaurant was very clean. I was intrigued by the Gotcha description even tho I usually don’t care for current day versions of biscuits and sausage gravy. I couldn’t imagine how it could be served without being a soggy mess. Anyway, I decided to try it, added cheese and onions to the hashbrowns, and asked for bacon on the side rather than stacked. Coffee cups were kept filled. Service was fast, the restaurant was full the entire time we were there. I was completely Gobsmacked by the Gotcha. The biscuit on the bottom was not soggy, I could taste the firmness of the outside and fluffy of the inside. The hashbrowns were crisp with just the right amount of cheddar so you could see and taste it. Eggs were scrambled. The side of bacon was cooked just crisp enough. The crowning glory was the white gravy (no sausage, the gravy stood alone! with a decent amount of black pepper, it really was a lovely dish! This is the gravy of my childhood which was a staple, either for breakfast or for supper to accent a platter of fried chicken and mashed potatoes. My greatest compliment of this dish is that is that it was not over salted. I have a great sensitivity/dislike of high sodium foods and I know this dish lends itself to high sodium….but salt was not added to this food to make it more palatable! We were offered the addition of extra spice, jalapeños, choice of hot sauces, but the flavor of the dish held its own, the first taste/flavor was not screaming high sodium! I’m still not sure how this combo worked so well, but it’s a fantastic breakfast and I will be back soon."
