"We stayed at the hotel next door and this place is conveniently located just across the street. The restaurant is a typical independent pizza store within a strip plaza so don't expect too much for décor or atmosphere, but also don't get discouraged because this place has great service and good food. The pizzas were great and the calzone was delicious and everything was ready in 15 minutes. The pizza is typical for east coast with thin, flakey and somewhat dry crust but quite enjoyable. Overall its an average pizza place but great service and convenience made a very good experience."

Not a lot of toppings. Definitely didn’t get the extra toppings I paid for. Taste was ok. Sauce was ok. Not worth the price at all.

I has spaghetti and meatballs which is yummy. The sauce is made with real tomatoes. The meal comes with garlic bread I and a small salad.

Its pizza, yes. But not good. The sauce was bland, the cheese had no flavor. The crust was good, but thats about it. Absolutely wouldnt purchase here again

If you're in between appointments at the nearby medical building, this looks like the only place nearby you can sit down and get something to eat. The souvlaki platter was good and reasonably priced at $9 including a soft drink. Nice people behind the counter. View menu

Speedy delivery by GrubHub, food was hot. Fried Zucchini delicious. Seasoned well. Kids meal chicken tenders tasty. Disappointed on the bread sticks. They were flat and dry. No butter, no seasoning of any kind, tasted And looked more like pita bread. Not what we were expecting.

The side salad was simple yet incredibly fresh and delicious. The Ranch dressing was exactly the type I adore, reminiscent of the homemade versions you find in family-run places. Both the service and food were deserving of five stars. I crafted my own Stromboli with pepperoni, sausage, and mozzarella. The dough, cheese, toppings, and sauce satisfied my craving for excellent bread.

Something's wrong with Grubhub. You put together with Grubhub, and it only makes me order a 12 simple pizza. I wanted a bigger pizza. It doesn't let me admit anything. I don't want to. What's wrong with Grubhub and Genova? Updating.. love the pizza! Also try the fried zucchini sticks. Yummy! You need desserts in the delivery menu. Sometimes you want something sweet after your meal. I wanted to order, but there are no desserts. I've never seen a place without desserts. Crazy! View menu

We arrived at the Marriott Courtyard late and noticed the neon sign shining above the street. The owner, who also makes the pizzas, was incredibly friendly and had a big smile on his face. We ordered exactly what we wanted, waited just a few minutes, and headed back to the hotel with our dinner in hand. The pizza was piping hot, had a fantastic crust, and was packed with toppings. It’s a wonderful spot for locals and a great find for my daughter and me. Thanks to the owner! You really know how to make a delicious pizza!

"This place really helped me adjust. I later learned that people gravitate towards certain bars, and I found my favorites, especially those with live music like Birchmere, Black Cat, 9:30 Club, Lincoln, Capital One Arena, and even the now-closed O'Shaughnessy's and Rock & Roll Hotel. One of my most memorable experiences was running into Rory Sheridan on one of my first visits. He was launching his DC music campaign back then and was part of Loud Boyz. We chatted a few times, and I even caught up with some old classmates. Another highlight was when I heard about a “reunion” night before Thanksgiving, and I decided to crash it. There were moments where people could be unkind or I felt out of place, but I was given some guidance on where I would fit in better, without the unnecessary drama. Being in Old Town, I was familiar with nearby schools like West Potomac, Mount Vernon, and Bishop Ireton. During my visits, I would often take an Alexandria cab or use Metro Access, being discreet about my disability since I felt embarrassed at times. Being a regular meant navigating the tourist scene, and there were people who seemed territorial about the place, but I ended up doing quite well when I sold my house. Good times continued with events like watching RG3 play for the Redskins or meetups organized by JT. I enjoyed New Year’s celebrations and weekend outings. I also frequented other establishments like Flying Fish before it closed, and O'Shaughnessy's before I decided to stop drinking. This is a sports bar located near a bicycle shop, close to the Ben & Jerry's I used to work at, along with many other walkable bars for bar hopping, like Union Street Pub and Fish Market. It can be a great place to have fun, but with the good comes some downsides. Overall, I felt well-hosted and respected here, despite some things I was not initially aware of or didn’t want to uncover."

"My friends and I went to Cheesetique for restaurant week. We sat outside. The space was great, the weather was great. Upon arrival, it took a server about 15 minutes to come to our table, and that was only after a friend went inside to ask for someone to service us. The server who had served our friends, who had arrived 10 minutes prior, was bartending. We ordered our drinks and food at the same time. The drinks came out relatively soon after. The food took a normal amount of time to come out of the kitchen. We got the watermelon, quinoa salad and truffle balls as apps. There was no dressing with the salad, just spinach leaves, watermelon, and quinoa. It was very basic. The truffle balls, although good, were balls of cheese. They gave huge cheese balls but only 3 tiny pieces of bread. We ordered a Mac and cheese for the table which was not salted very well at all. For the main course, we ordered gnocchi, pot pie, and braised beef. The beef and mashed potatoes were the best. The pot poe and gnocchi were not nearly salted enough. All the food came out 'warm ' at best. Dessert was fine. Overall, not at all worth the amount we paid for restaurant week. We were left disappointed. The service was slow. I do understand they might have been short staffed, but even waitresses who were not our servers looked as us, after being there for 15 min and walked past. We asked someone to get us water, which was never brought to us, so overall, disappointed in our dining experience, considering how much we paid."
