"Just got some to go from this place. I originally wanted to get the Taiwan style pan fried oyster with eggs. But disordered to deep fried oyster and that's ok. But the pork chop over rice... the pork chop taste like taro in taste and texture like almost rotten meat. I couldn't finish it. How can people do people like this don't they know there is Yelp? The owner actually asked if I went to the wrong place like Yen JI next door!!?? To actually doubt ur customer is so dumb? Haha only if she knew the review I gave them last time. This whole mall is going down hill. It's making money from white people and don't care about quality. And just arrogant"

Excellent service but the ambiance and food need a little something extra to push it from ok to really great. Last Sunday, we had the Volcano roll, Tempura roll, Eel roll, Spider roll, Seafood soup, steamed dumplings, beef bento box, and it was all ok. The hot saki was really strong but not intoxicating. I am an old customer and visited there frequently for a long time. Recently the food became much worse than before. Today I found a mental wire which comes from a cleaning wire ball in the chicken dish ordered. What a surprise! They only offered exchange or coupon for next visit. Will not eat there anymore.

The first time we ate at Genroku was 15 years ago and we quickly became regulars until we moved to the east coast. The jalapeño beef is our family favorite! We just tried the fried tofu which was also excellent! We just visited and enjoyed seeing Lily and having the yummy food we always enjoyed! Every time we visit we always make sure we stop in and are never disappointed.

We’ve been going to Genroku for many years and I can tell you the food has been consistent throughout the years. We have really gotten to know everyone at the restaurant and truly enjoyed going. They treat us like family and the food is great every time . If you’re looking for some really good food at a very reasonable price was some very nice people. I would highly recommend this restaurant. By the way, my two boys love going! View menu

The owner owns the restaurant for more than 30 years. Both chefs have worked with her for years. One chef is 71 years old and the other is 81 years old. The food taste like home! We really enjoy the food, and have been visiting since 2007. The sauce of spicy dumplings is home made by the owner! You can only taste it here! The must order is three cups intensities and Taiwanese popcorn chicken! Of course, Taiwanese pork stews rice.

The tough part is, do you want sushi or something from the grill. The basil chicken, there’s lots of spices! Was surprised with the amount of chicken in the dish. It’s enough for 2-3 people to share. That is if you order some additional dishes. The stir fried eggs with shrimp was. The beef with jalapenos pepper was also good. We got it with low heat, rather the mild. During winter time this dish would be great with the mild heat. Service was good, kept the water glass full. Unlike most Asian restaurant that close on Tuesday or Wednesday, they are closed on Monday.

"A mean chicken sandwich, along with an array of other diverse items, is what you can expect to find here.Their chicken sandwich, though pricier than one at a fast food drive thru, is well worth it. It's a well seasoned breast fried with a well-balanced crispy batter. And, to top it off, it's bigger than cheaper fried chicken sandwiches elsewhere. The classic chicken sandwich is satisfying, but some of their other sauced variations might satisfy people who want more unique flavors on their sandwiches.Everything tastes fresh, and the organic cage free chicken they claim to use can be tasted. It's a juicy clean tasting chicken, and one's stomach can feel it later. Unlike a lot of other fried chicken sandwiches, there's a remarkable lightness about it.The fries they have are fresh and hot, but are also thick crinkle cut fries which may not be in some people's taste. Luckily, the homemade chips they make up for that fact, and they shockingly taste much better than they should. For those hoping for a healthier option, this place offers plenty of wildly delicious choices involving grilled chicken, quinoa salads, wraps, and many others that are no less creative than their fried chicken choices. The stellar atmosphere and friendly service cap it all off.If anything can be complained about, it's that the biscuits here are too soft, and lack the crumbly crispy texture of a regular biscuit one is used to eating. While it's not bad at all, some may not find it to their taste."
