"I met up with some friends and was really impressed by the restaurant's atmosphere. The train passing by across the street added a special charm to the experience. Since it was my first time dining here, I was pleasantly surprised to find out that I could take some food home with me. The service was outstanding, and we enjoyed a lovely lunch. The cost per person fell between $10 and $20. Overall, I would give the food, service, and atmosphere a perfect score of 5 out of 5."

What a great place! Food was perfect. Had the chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes, and cucumber tomato salad. Mrs had grilled chicken, green beans. We topped it off with a coconut cream pie and chocolate cake. Sorry for the lqck pictures, but we were hungry and started right in. Will be back again. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch View menu

In my view, it’s the best Texan-style restaurant in all of San Antonio! The food is delicious, the portions are generous, and the prices are very reasonable. The location is easily accessible from the road, and the customer service was outstanding. It felt like I was visiting my aunt in Texas; I truly felt at home. I will definitely return the next time I'm in San Antonio!

The country food here is overpriced. I paid $15 for a chicken-fried steak and $7 for a slice of pie. I ordered an Oreo pie, but what I got was a container of pudding that turned to liquid in the fridge—it looked unappetizing. I ended up spending over $50 for two people. While the service was excellent, it doesn't make up for the poor quality of the food, which is all overpriced.

I absolutely adore this cozy café! The atmosphere is wonderfully laid-back, reminiscent of enjoying a meal at your grandma's house. The service is consistently friendly and attentive. I'm especially a fan of the desserts, which are always beautifully displayed at the front counter as you walk to your table. You absolutely cannot miss out on the desserts here—sometimes, I even make them my entire meal!
