"You have to give credit to Gialina. They have been consistently delivering quality for quite some time now. With over 1,000 reviews and a steady 4-star rating, that's quite an accomplishment. In the increasingly competitive gourmet pizza scene, Gialina has carved out a distinct niche in Glen Park. Honestly, there aren't many outstanding dining options in the area, so Gialina holds a significant influence. All of their pizzas are fantastic; no matter what you choose, you're likely to enjoy it. My personal favorite is the Amatriciana, which includes tomato, pancetta, chilies, a farm egg, and pecorino cheese—but I’m not alone in my admiration for it. The service is good—not extraordinary, but it certainly doesn’t detract from the experience. If you're a pizza enthusiast, I highly recommend giving it a try—it's definitely worth it!"

I was searching for a dinner spot before heading to Bird Beckett for some jazz tonight and came across this restaurant on Yelp. I decided to give it a shot.

The food, service, atmosphere, and location were all fantastic. I'm really grateful that my friend recommended Gialina Pizzeria to me, and I will definitely be going back. View menu

The restaurant was quite crowded when we got there. Even though we didn't have a reservation, they managed to seat us relatively quickly. If we had arrived just a few minutes later, the situation might have been different.

Good pizza, not too long of a wait, and feels intimate despite the popularity. The view into the kitchen is great, they're busy and having fun. If I could knock it for one thing, I wasn't really clear that it was primarily a pizza place. Would be nice tohave some other options; the ones they do have are limited.

The Atomica pizza, which comes topped with an egg, is by far my favorite pizza in the city. I've visited this restaurant a dozen times and always stick to this dish, which consistently impresses me. Every friend we've brought along has had the same amazing reaction, despite not having heard of it before. It's definitely a hidden gem. View menu

This small artisan pizza spot in San Francisco offers gluten-free crusts for those interested. The four cheese pizza was enjoyable but turned into a cheese cracker as it cooled down. They also forgot to add the hot honey to the pepperoni pizza, which I had to request. Next time, I think I'll try the pepperoni with hot honey on a traditional crust.

Good neighborhood pizza place in Glen Park. Pizza is very good and it 's always busy especially during the weekends. The mushroom truffle pizza was very tasty although I don 't like raw veggies (arugula) on my pizza, I just had to move the greens aside to have the slice the way I prefer. Margherita is my partner 's favorite, but I am not a fan of their margherita pizza. Overall a cute neighborhood hangout pizza place. It 's best to have the slices here, when you pick up togo they get mushy by the time you get home. Their flourless chocolate pistachio dessert was out of this world, light and very tasty!

"Earlier this year Salty 's was featured in one of the top 100 places to eat in the Bay Area in 2022, and after trying it a couple times, it 's easy to see why. Quality and flavor, great customer service, it checks all those boxes. I occasionally visit the 24 hour fitness on Van Ness, and Salty 's happens to be just few short blocks away which makes it perfect when I 'm looking for a post-workout sandwich. And for those that know me, I love me my sandwiches. On my latest visit, I decided to go with the 'Glorious B sandwich, which come with turkey, bacon, avocado, pepper jack, veggies, and garlic mayo. The blend of flavors and high quality of the turkey is no wonder it 's at the very top of the menu list. It 's one of those sandwiches, that you can bring to park and not need a ton of napkins to get through. It was well put together, with the ratio of all the ingredients matching well. Nothing overpowering, just sandwich perfection. The size of the sandwich I thought was the perfect size for my appetite. As I 've gotten older I can 't put down as much food as I used to, and after one-half I knew I could 've stopped eating, be content, saved the rest for later. But of course I ate the whole thing and nothing sounds better than taking a quick power nap right after. I love that their menu has so many different sandwich combinations, so definitely take time to check their menu before calling-in/walking-in to order because it 'll definitely save you some time. On my latest visit, I was in and out in 10 minutes. Definitely towards the top of my list of sandwiches in this part of town!"
