"We ordered take out tonight (1/12). My son and I came to pick it up, I 'd never been here before. I parked in the back and entered through the patio. We found our way up to the front and stood by what I assume is a hostess stand. They were busy, so we stood there patiently waiting. A server was approaching so I greeted her, saying hey . She just looked at me, said hi and kept on going. At that point we 'd been standing there a little while. I could see employees over at the bar so I walked over to it and let one know I needed to pick up my order. It had already been sitting on the bar the whole time. So I paid and we left. No one ever greeted us, barely acknowledged our existence. If I was meant to go to the bar to pick up the order, it was not clear. No signs, no one asked what we needed. My husband liked his veal. The Alfredo I got wasn 't very flavorful. It was more like canned Alfredo than fresh. The pasta in it was good, nice al dente pasta. My son got the chicken fingers and fries. He liked them. I 'm willing to give it another chance. Probably not for a while though. We 've had takeout from there before, my husband picked it up and didn 't have any issues. It was delicious that time. Maybe it was an off night."

"The food was comforting, reminiscent of home cooking—nothing fancy, but definitely satisfying. We tried their fried cod, fried snapper, fried calamari, clam chowder, and red potatoes with beans. We couldn’t finish our meals because they were quite filling—probably because everything was fried and the potatoes were cooked in oil—but overall, it was a great experience. We certainly didn't leave hungry. I also had a side salad, which was excellent. As for parking, there was plenty available right outside the restaurant, and it was free self-parking. The restaurant is a bit tucked away behind a gas station, so when you arrive, your GPS might direct you to the gas station itself. You'll need to go behind it, turn onto a small street, and then make a right; the restaurant will be on your left."

"This was the best Easter dinner I have ever had! It was incredibly wonderful to not cook for the first time in as long as I can remember since I learned how to cook! I was skeptical because I’ve had home cooking for all my years but it was just as good, and perhaps even better! The sweet potato soufflé was the best my husband and I have EVER had (so much so we ordered 3 sides to go! And we were heartbroken that they don’t serve it year round The ham was moist and so flavorful. The mini cheesecakes were crazy good! Kayla was a rock star of a server! And I don’t know what the heck other reviews were talkin’ about as far as the decor! Sadly I hadn’t been there in years and I thought it was lovely and humorous! And I also saw complaints about increased prices, but goodness, gracious, great balls of fire what prices haven’t gone up? Can’t wait to go back when it’s not a holiday and try so much more on the menu!!!"

"I visited for the first time and had a great experience. The service was excellent, with friendly staff, especially a helpful young blonde waitress. The prices were reasonable, and the portion sizes were satisfying. However, I found the homemade fries to be a bit dry. When I asked which was better—homemade fries or hash browns—I was surprised to hear they resembled the small, round fries you get at Burger King. People generally go to mom-and-pop diners for a home-cooked meal, not fast food. My advice? Give it a try; you’ll get good value for your money and leave satisfied."

"You won't find better service or food anywhere else. This place truly feels like home. The staff are exceptional, and the food is incredible and plentiful. If you're hungry, you'll feel like you're being taken care of by your own mother. They even offer a complimentary homemade soup with any purchase, and honestly, I don't mind what flavor it is because they're all fantastic. They always think of my kids too, giving them a small toy or gift with every visit. Thank you for treating us like family and looking after my loved ones. And if you’re a fan of steak and cheese subs, you absolutely have to try theirs — they're huge and simply the best I've ever had!"
