"Absolutely wonderful food. I went just after their lunch hr ended (2:50, lunch ends at 2:30) and so it wasn't busy (don't know how busy lunch gets but with being close to Lackland, I can assume it might get busy). Ordered their spring rolls (which are egg roll sized not the skinny spring rolls), egg drop soup (which is served with a garnish of green onion but no other vegetables, which is why I picked this place) and beef with broccoli (served with sliced carrots). Everything was amazing and I will definitely be coming back. One of the waitresses saw me picking put the carrots (not a fan and I usually always pick them out) and she told me that they will make to order and so I can ask them to leave them out next time, which I always assume is just me being picky but she was really nice about letting me know. Didn't take any pictures of the food but did of me receipt."

I dine at Golden Wok, whether at the Marbach or Wurbach location. You can always count on a great dinner here. The Mongolian dish was excellent; the meat was perfectly seared and cooked.

This restaurant is a pleasant neighborhood spot. The food is consistently delicious and served hot. They offer daily lunch specials at a reasonable price. Our server was friendly and attentive.

great eating, the only problem I have with this restaurant, is that I cannot replace the white rice for the fried rice, if I want fried rice, I have to buy a next order and end up with a bucking rice that I will not eat. So if I want to eat Chinese for dinner, I have to go somewhere else. View menu

we drove to ding how, but they had a sign that no lunch specials said on the day. so we went to golden wok, and thank goodness we did. not only that they have lunch specialties they welcomed. we have enjoyed the combination plate specialties with tee. well, it was just delicious food and the portion was huge!

I ordered $65 worth of food at the restaurant and the Mongolian barbecue dish only had 3 small pieces of meat. Two of the pieces were very small and looked like scraps that are usually discarded during cooking. I expressed my disappointment and showed them a video of my previous visit where the portion was larger, but they insisted that the current portion was correct.

The first Chinese Restaurant I experience. I couldn’t be convinced to go. One day someone brought home leftovers when they came over to our apartment back in 1975. I was encouraged to just give it a try. Lemon chicken, beef and broccoli, Mandarin Duck, egg Rolland pork fried rice. We went the very next day and have been hooked on Golden Wok since then. We stopped in for a late lunch based on recommendations from our neighborhood FB page. We opted for the Lunch Special of Shrimp Stir Fry which included Egg Drop Soup, fried rice, and Wonton. The veggies and shrimp were done to perfection; not like some places where it sits and gets soggy. Service was great. Max kept our iced tea filled answered all our questions. The menu had plenty of options; so, we’ll be back for more.

The service was good, but unfortunately the dish I ordered was not. The lemon chicken I received was deep fried with the skin on, which I found to be unpleasant and greasy. Despite asking the waiter if the chicken was breaded and baked, I was told it was when it clearly was not. I am disappointed and will not be returning. The lemon chicken at Ding How is far superior.
