"If you find yourself at the McCormick Center or nearby at the Marriott or Hyatt, this restaurant is a fantastic choice. The dining space is compact, but they also offer takeout. There's a wide range of menu options available for both lunch and dinner. I dined there for dinner and can confirm that the portion sizes are generous and the prices are quite fair. I ordered a salad topped with chicken; the salad was fresh, and the chicken was perfectly tender. I highly recommend this place!"

I love this place, I have been going here since the early 90s, right after I discharged honorably from the Military!!! I just pray that they will never shut down, like what had happened to Ronnie's Steak House, unfortunately back in late September!!! They, are both a major staple too the Chicago area, and for our communities!!! Please, support Chef Luciano Kitchen!!! You will not regret it!!!

The food is excellent, prices are fair, and the portion sizes are generous (except for the naan that accompanies the meal, which is a bit on the small side). Whenever I visit Chicago with my family, we always stop for lunch at Luciano’s, and the quality of the food is consistently high, with orders always being accurate. One recommendation would be to expand the dessert menu for a broader selection.

I also sampled their cheesecake, cornbread, and loaded chicken potatoes. The cheesecake was pleasantly sweet, which is a welcome change from the overly sweet ones you often find at other places. The cornbread was delightfully soft and fluffy—truly delicious. I visited with friends who ordered the curry chicken bowl and fried chicken with rice and beans, and everyone enjoyed their meals. I’ll definitely be recommending this restaurant to others and plan to return for more!

"Tempesta is arguably one of the best sandwich shops in the city. They make a lot of their meats in house and use high quality ingredients so you know you’re getting the good stuff. Not only can you get a great sandwich, you can purchase most of their meats to go as well as other small artisanal grocery items. I have tried almost every sandwich they have on the menu but my top two choices would be the #1 The Dante and the #2 Yo! Vincenzo! The Dante is their version of a classic Italian sandwich but a bit on the spicier side. The Yo Vincenzo is a chicken parm and I personally think it’s the best chicken parm sandwich in the city. The chicken is perfectly crispy, and they use just the right amount of sauce where it doesn’t get soggy. Both of these sandwiches come on their fresh baguette which helps set them apart from other sandwich spots in Chicago just because of how good it is. The B Franklin is also a great option, and if you’re starving get the Wagyu Pastrami but be warned it is a very heavy sandwich because of that Wagyu. The last pro tip I’ll add in here is order your sandwich ahead of time if you’re doing takeout. This is a very popular spot and is always busy during the lunch rush so if you wait to order until you arrive you may need to wait for 10-15 minutes. That should speak to how good this place is because it’s in such high demand, so if you’re in Chicago make sure you stop in!"
