Poor service, overpriced, bland food. *Poor service-When we arrived we werethe only customers. We placed our orders and received our drinks. Then a group of approximately 20 people came in for ice cream.From where I was seated I could see our order was completely and sitting under a heat lap for quite some time. I went up to theserver and asked if we could receive our food order. I was told they only have 2 employees (1 cook and 1 server) so I had towait while she served the customers ordering ice creams, even though we were there first AND our hot food was cooked. So I satback down, and wasn?t served our food, until she was finished scooping up all the customers (approximately 20) ice creams. *Poor service-My teenage son didn?t like the roast beef panini. I told the server he didn?t like the sandwich and asked to orderpancakes instead. No accommodations to remove the sandwich, take it off the bill, or apologies were made. *Overpriced, thesandwiches we ordered were $12.99-17.50. They came with only a sandwich and no sides. Not one sandwich was memorable. *Blandfood, the food is like a poorly run deli. Bland and not memorable. *No bill was offered at the end. I asked for the bill andwas told to go to the cashier area. I was told a final price, but no bill was offered to see."

I can't stress enough how fantastic everything was. Each dish was expertly prepared to perfection. The Banana Foster French toast and the grilled pimento cheese with its unique twist were exceptional. This restaurant is truly a hidden gem for both locals and visitors.

Gr8 bites, poor service. You have to guess that you have to pay at the counter, after you were served at the table. A small informative note would be helpful. Or a polite question from the owner (I assume? , who was personally refilling coffee to thenext table, but didn't bother to come to us.

We recently had our wedding in HHI and Greg at G8 bites was not only wonderful to work with, but the desserts were also delicious! We got so many compliments on our cupcakes. Greg even went above and beyond and made us an ice cream cake that wewill never forgot. 10/10 recommend for any occasion on the island! View menu

My kids and I visited over Memorial Day weekend in 2022, and we're from Georgia. The food was delicious, perfectly portioned, and neatly presented. We were all very happy with our meals. We only waited about 15 minutes for our order, which gave us some time to relax, sit, and chat. It was a bit on the pricey side, but definitely worth it!

Gr8 Bites is open for breakfast and lunch. Gr8 Bites came recommended by a new neighbor, so we tried it out. My wife had a vegetable Omelet and I had a Western Omelet. Both came with fantastic home fries and an English muffin. We noticed that they hadmushroom soup as the soup of the day. We got a quart and had it for our lunch the following day. The soup was awesome! We willbe back again.

Incredible home-cooked meals! We dropped in on our way back from a week in Hilton Head. At first, it may seem like a small hole-in-the-wall, but Chef Greg really knows his craft! My friend, who is quite selective about his food, loved everything, even the toast he usually skips! I stopped here for ice cream and was really impressed. The place is incredibly clean, and the staff wore gloves while preparing our cones and promptly cleaned the tables after we left. It's wonderful to support a small business like this. The owner was present and both he and his employees were very pleasant. The ice cream itself was fantastic, with generous portions at reasonable prices. We will definitely come back!

We found this place on a ?breakfast ? Google maps search. It is tucked away from the main road but well worth the search. The restaurant is very clean and the service was good. The food came out fast and hot. The coffee was good for non-coffee shopcoffee. I like a good bit of half and half in my coffee and they actually brought me enough without having to ask for extra. IfI had one piece of constructive criticism it would be to upgrade the silverware. My fork was only a small step up from plastic.
