Great mood and good food. Had a Western and a southwest burger. Both were cooked to order and delicious. Friendly staff and fast service. Veteran discount too. Win, win

We stopped by from our road trip. The huevo burger was delicious, fajitas were tasty althought I should have requested medium rare, bathrooms were clean, and staff was friendly. Will stop by again!

Oh my goodness! We had the best breakfast ever! The service was incredible, and the staff was outstanding! We're so glad we stopped here on our road trip! If you're ever in the area, this place is a must-visit! The decor made us feel right at home, and we felt completely at peace. The food was exceptional!

Fun place with good food. Popular with locals, but easy access for visitors (just a block off Route 66). Lots of interesting burgers and salads, some diner entrées, and daily specials. At the moment you order at the entrance and take a number to your table for the food, but the young, energetic staff visit tables regularly to ensure full service.

My husband and I stopped for the night in Gallup and wanted to eat locally. We ordered the hula burger, mama burger, and fried mushrooms/zucchini. The delicious and juicy burgers were cooked to perfection. The breading and fry on our appetizer was great and it came with ranch dipping sauce. The staff was welcoming and friendly. Our whole experience was amazing and if we are ever in this area again we will be sure to be back. View menu

One of my favorite eating places for 35 years. Down home atmosphere, scrumptious food at very reasonable prices. Friendly staff, the owner is not afraid to get his hands dirty, and they visit with the customers. The place is full for lunch, breakfast is busy and promptly served. Dinner is not on my itinerary. Clean and abuzz with locals and out of state visitors laughing and talking. Local artists are welcome to sell local arts and crafts table to table.

This was our first visit to Grandpa's Grill in Gallup, NM, and it was a unique experience. Upon entering, we were greeted with a menu displayed for self-ordering. We decided to try the special of the day, which included 4 barbecue pork ribs, corn on the cob, a baked potato, ranch-style beans, roasted bread, and iced tea. The ranch-style beans appeared to be homemade, which added a nice touch. It was a hearty meal that really satisfied our hunger. The only reason I gave it four stars instead of five is that the pork was a bit fatty.
