Granny's Brier Patch

The fried green tomatoes fried mushrooms were delicious. I ordered a patty melt. It wasn't very flavorful patty was dry.

Lunch was OK. The biscuits are not homemade or the gravy. My friends fish looked fresh and delicious. Customer service was exceptional.

I ordered eggs cooked medium with well-done hash browns, but my eggs arrived over easy and the hash browns were not cooked enough. I sent them back, but the eggs came out the same way again, and the hash browns were still not well done. I will not be returning.

Cute, quaint little meat and three restaurant.The fried squash, BBQ and baked beans were good but the mash potatoes had a strange taste. The green beans had no flavor and the mac n cheese was on the dry side. For two meals, we paid $36 before tipping. Service was great.

First and last visit. My chicken and dressing had absolutely no chicken in it—looked like they might have used canned chicken? I could make something better using a $6 roasted chicken from the grocery store and my own cornbread dressing. I'm not a food critic, but this was terrible and priced just like Cracker Barrel. Loved this little spot. We just moved to Springfield and wanted breakfast and not waffle house ? Found this little gem and we were not disappointed. Our waitress was busy but friendly and patient while we took our time ordering. Food was great, and we loved the atmosphere. Definitely will be coming back and bringing family when they come visit us

Just stopped here for breakfast, as it was the closest spot to our airbnb. Your good ol fashion led small diner. The staff was sweet. The food was full of comfort and came out quick. Lots of options. My only small complaint was that we got French toast and it wasn't cooked all the way, leaving it very soggy so we just ate the outside part. Other than that it was great and would come here again.

I've been here three times. The first time was not long after they first opened. The food was horrible. Since they were new, I decided to give them another shot. Went for breakfast the second time, and the food was fine. Third time was a couple of days ago. I got chicken and dressing with pinto beans and okra and cornbread. The chicken and dressing was terrible. It came like some kind of slimy something with chicken in it. I ate it because I was hungry, but Stove Top honestly would have been better. The beans and okra were ok. The fried cornbread was very yellow and had a strange taste. The atmosphere and people were great, but the food sucks here. I won't be coming back. View menu
