"Wow! I just visited this location for the first time, and I've been to many Great Harvest locations in Washington, Missouri, and other states. Unfortunately, this was the worst experience I've had. The place was filthy! The restrooms were dirty, and the stairs leading up to them looked like the carpet hadn't been replaced since the 1900s. To top it off, there were flies in the bakery case all over the rolls, buns, and brownies, and the employee merely shooed them away. Doesn't Utah have any restaurant or food safety regulations? This is unacceptable!"

They’ve significantly raised their prices over the last year. Doesn’t feel worth it anymore.

I’m giving a five-star review for the new “Peach Cobbler” cinnamon roll! It's absolutely delicious and ideal for this time of year. With peaches in season, this is a fantastic way to savor their flavor!

I was over charged. I got a loaf of wheat bread, one fruity bar, one cinnamon roll, one pack of oatmeal chocolate cookies, all were day old and should have been 50%off. I said no to tip. I’m in a budget. I was charged 10$ to much.

The restaurant closes at 6, but they don't allow sandwich orders after 4:30? That feels more like a food novelty shop than an actual restaurant. I've never encountered this issue at any other Great Harvest, and I am extremely disappointed. View menu

love coming here — such good bread! only problem today is that it was busy and one of the workers seemed to be on facetime the entire time I was in the store. it’s usually fine and I don’t mind waiting, but she was loud and everyone seemed to be annoyed with it.

What started out as a terrible experience, completely turned around. I made an online order for a dozen cinnamon rolls for my daughter's birthday. When I arrived to pick them up, I got blank stares. The kids said they were just closers and didn't do any baking or know what to do. I asked if they could refund me so I could go figure something else out at that point (since my party was starting in 30 min) and I got more blank stares. After more excuses and deflection of responsibility, I finally h … – show

"Haru Ramen House in Layton, Utah, is a mixed bag in terms of dining experience. Starting with the positives, the appetizers were undoubtedly the highlight of the meal. They were flavorful, well-prepared, and arrived quickly. The gyoza, for instance, had a delightful crispness on the outside with a savory filling, and the takoyaki was a pleasant surprise with its rich flavors and texture. However, the main attraction—the ramen—was a bit of a letdown. While it wasn’t outright bad, it failed to stand out. The broth lacked the depth and richness one would expect from authentic ramen, and the noodles were just average. The toppings were sufficient but didn’t elevate the dish, leaving the overall experience underwhelming. The biggest disappointment, though, was the service. The staff seemed inattentive, and it took a long time to get refills or assistance. The lack of hospitality and care took away from what could have been a more enjoyable meal. It felt as though the staff were either overworked or simply uninterested, which was unfortunate given the potential of the restaurant. Overall, Haru Ramen House has its moments with the appetizers, but the average ramen and poor service make it hard to recommend wholeheartedly. With some improvements in customer service and a bit more attention to the quality of the ramen, this spot could become a much better dining destination. "My fiancé and I ate here for Valentine’s Day and had a delicious dinner. Our server Bryce had some great recommendations. We started off with the crabmeat fries. I love good loaded fries…and these were absolutely fantastic! The fries were cooked to perfection and the flavor was great! We’d definitely order these again. We did the Valentine’s Day special which was dinner for two for $69 (very clever . It came with an appetizer, main course, and a dessert. We chose the crabmeat fries (delicious , crab, shrimp, extra shrimp (which was an additional $4 , and a lemon blueberry dessert. We chose to get the hook reel original sauce in a spicy heat level. I can do a little bit of heat, so spicy was great for me. I probably could have gone a tad hotter. I didn’t try the next heat level, but I think my fiancé would have liked that more. He loves spicy food. The main course was delicious! We couldn’t get enough of that sauce! The potatoes were cooked perfectly and could be easily cut with a fork. We ordered a lemon blueberry dessert, but the server brought us cheesecake. I don’t usually like cheesecake, but we really needed to be heading home, so we didn’t say anything to our server. I ended up loving the cheesecake! It was fantastic when drizzled with both the chocolate and strawberry sauce! Cheesecake is usually too dense for me, but this one was very light. All in all we had a great dinner. It could have been a little better if we were provided with gloves (I hate getting my hands messy . I don’t know if they forgot to provide them or if we needed to ask. It wasn’t a deal breaker though so we just dug in. It was kind of fun : We’d definitely come back for more delicious food."
