"I can only speak to the bar as we didn't dine here. While it's not the original structure, it is located on the site of the historic Green Dragon Tavern, which was an important meeting place during the Revolutionary War. Stop by for a beer and take a look at the Revolutionary War memorabilia on display. It's conveniently located on the Freedom Trail."

Great, historic bar right in the heart of Boston! This was our last stop on a tour of historic taverns during the 250th anniversary of the Boston Tea Party, and by far my favorite stop.

Apparently this place is one of the 10 Oldest Bars in the world! Founded in 1657. It is truly a must see while visiting Boston. Great pour of Guinness and friendly staff. Must try are the super nachos with buffalo chicken, shepherds pie and patriot’s burger. View menu

I would rate this pub with 5 stars! The food was delicious; we tried the chowder and flatbread, both of which were excellent. The drinks were top-notch, and despite how busy it was, the service was fantastic. The atmosphere is really vibrant and inviting. Definitely worth a visit!

Great Bar...was blown away to hear that it 's the 11th oldest bar in the world! Friendly staff, more friendly customers. GO!!! It also happens to be the place where Paul Revere overheard the British talking about the invasion, this began the famous The British are Coming ride on his stallion!

"No soup/sandwich shop compares in terms of price per quality, portion size, and different options in the area. I only started ordering from here about 2 weeks ago and I’ve now had 7 different kinds of soups and 4 different kinds of sandwiches after the first order I started ordering two soups and a sandwich aka a soup to save for later because they’re just that good, every one of them. Price is so very reasonable and depending on which combo you get you can make out with a full sized sandwich and large sized homemade soup for $14.While it’s hard to recommend one thing over another in this circumstance since it’s all been great in their own ways, the Chicken Chowder is something I plan on getting a quart of next time it’s available. The Chicken Barley and Chicken Lemon Rice are ones I plan on getting quarts of in the future as well, and that’s not to discount the Chicken Noodle, Beef and Veg Noodle Stew, French Onion, and the current seasonal Chilled Gazpacha (which I probably wouldn’t have even tried it wasn’t from these guys . It’s all top quality. The Chicken Tarragon sandwich is my favorite in terms of sandwiches although it can’t combo with a soup as of now (please let us! . The best cheap soup combo sandwich is a tossup between the Cilantro Tuna and Ciabatta Sandwich, which are both incredible in their own ways. The only few drawbacks to this place are they don’t have every soup they make every day, are only open until 4PM, and aren’t open on the weekends. That said it’s worth it to plan accordingly for this. I never review anything but this place is worth it it’s the best if you’re a soup and sandwich person like I am."
