Everything is so delicious that you'll have a tough time deciding what to order. I personally recommend the Cuban.

Incredible experience at Especial Cubano! The drinks, especially the Hibiscus Margarita, are a solid 5 stars across the board. The staff are incredibly friendly. This place truly stands out among Miami's Cuban restaurants!

Nilo offered outstanding service and went above and beyond to accommodate us, guiding us through the menu since it was my first visit. The food was absolutely delicious and full of flavor! Through and through lovely experience. The food, EL NACIONAL, CUBANO ESPECIAL, and BEIGNETS exceeded expectations. The food was well arranged, well prepared, and extremely tasty. This is an absolutely perfect breakfast/brunch. Also, don't miss the deserts and lovely coffee drinks.The staff was friendly and created a very welcoming and cheerful atmosphere.

Great spot, we usually go for breakfast but everything is good, the food and the coffee. Juevos Rancheros and a cortadito (or two) is my go-to. The people are really nice there and it 's family friendly. They have Calvin and Hobbes books, toys, games and a classic SNES we played while we were waiting for our take out order. My 8-year old said wow, this is a great place, we should come here at least four times a month and my 5-year old absolutely housed the avocado toast.

A charming little spot on Main Street in Charlottesville! It was my wife and I's first visit, and we arrived at the restaurant around 9:30 on a Friday. We had to wait a few minutes for an outdoor table, but it was worth it. We both ordered coffee— I had a Cuban coffee while she opted for iced, and both were outstanding. I chose the Huevos Rancheros, and she had the Avocado Toast with a side of scrambled eggs. I tried Guajiros for the first time today and it’s definitely one of my favorite restaurants in Charlottesville now. I got the Mom’s Platter with pulled pork and fried cheese with a side of plantains and it was so so delicious. I absolutely loved the hot sauces too and I even bought a bottle of the orange/mild sauce for myself because it was THAT good. The cafe con leche was great too and really hit the spot for a Saturday brunch.Our server Lexi was amazing. She was so kind and was super knowledgeable on the menu when I had a question about some items. She was also super attentive and had a really positive attitude that made the meal even better.

Wowwweeeee! Probably one of my favorite restaurants in the Charlottesville area. This time around (and there have been many a times), we vouched for El Nacional breakfast platter, tres leches, and cafes con leche.The breakfast platter offered a variety of flavors that all complemented one another in different ways salt and peppered avocado slices, plantains, black beans, eggs w/ chorizo SO GOOD! This was the first time we tried the tres leches and were happily surprised to find that it was topped with a fluffy marshmallow spread of sorts. Again, SO GOOD!Parking: Free street parking nearby, but somewhat difficult to find a spot during their busy hours.

The food was pretty solid but not particularly great. The general ambience was fun and family friendly. Kitschy in all the right ways.My mojo chicken sandwich was at best 4/5. No huge complaints, but it wasn't up to the standard of a restaurant with a 4.8 on google. The chicken just felt weirdly uniform, and the texture wasn't ideal. It honestly seemed like it was cut up on an industrial mandolin 8 hours ago and put into a chicken receptacle that holds chicken slices all day.The avocado toast was much better.
