"The macaroni and cheese was well-sauced and delightfully cheesy. Although there wasn't much of a smoky flavor, it was still quite enjoyable. The pasta was slightly more tender than al dente but didn’t turn mushy, retaining a good chew. I’d estimate I received about 1.5 cups of mac and cheese. As for the coleslaw, I’m quite picky and usually end up tweaking it or avoiding it altogether. It was described as having a creamy, tangy dressing, which encouraged me to give it a shot. To my surprise, it was pretty good! I did add a little mayo, pepper, and sugar to customize it, but it didn’t need much to taste just right. The addition of carrots gave it a hint of carrot salad flavor, but overall, I would happily order it again. The serving size was around 1 cup packed into the container, which fluffed up to about 1.25 cups when served. I would definitely order this meal again, and I even have leftovers! Next time, I’m planning to make a sandwich with the leftover pulled pork and the coleslaw (without any modifications) because I think they would pair beautifully together."

We ordered a half-pound of brisket, a pulled pork sandwich, and sausage delight, and they were all fantastic. However, the sides let us down: the cole slaw was slimy, the baked beans had a bitter taste, and the pikliz didn't suit our preferences. Despite the disappointing sides, we will definitely return because the meat was simply delicious.

In my chicken meal, it mentioned that a side dish was included, but I wasn't allowed to choose which one I wanted. I added instructions specifying my preference, but I ended up with potato salad instead, which I did not want. The catfish with fries was decent, but the fries were too hard for me to eat. While the chicken tasted good, it didn’t look like what was shown in the picture.

First time ordering from this place and Im honestly a little disappointed. For the price, the portion was small. The Macaroni and cheese was tasteless and dry but the pulled pork was good! My order came spilling out of the take out box and because there was so much sauce, the container was soggy and splitting open. It would have also been nice to include utensils and napkins. Lastly, I wanted to try their side dishes, but unfortunately a side of potato salad is $7.00 and a side of coleslaw is $6.00. This is barbaric, especially due to the portion sizes. View menu
