"This is, hands down, my favorite restaurant nearby! When Gyro 101 opened last year, I was so excited! I love Mediterranean food having it near me was a dream come true. And it did not disappoint! The food is delicious I love the selection. My little brother is a very picky eater them having regular french fries alongside authentic Mediterranean food makes it so that my whole family can enjoy the same restaurant. And the fries are super good too! Love the seasoning they use.My personal favorites from Gyro 101 are the falafel wrap with hummus and toum, the spanikopita, and the hazelnut baklava, but honestly I have loved everything that I have tried there. : The pita is always fresh warm, which is really nice. Sometimes I will get a hummus or baba ganoush appetizer and just chow down on that.I go to Gyro 101 pretty often. It's only a block away from my house. I am a part-time powerchair user, but it's close enough that I can use my forearm crutch or rollator to walk there if I so choose. All too often, restaurants are all business. The owners and people who work here put love into everything that they make. It's really special! They're very welcoming go out of their way to give a good experience to their customers.I love this place. It feels like seeing good friends/family everytime I go. I really appreciate that!-the lady in purple ?Vegetarian options: They have a a good amount of vegetarian-friendly options. Ones that come to mind include falafel, hummus, baba ganoush, french fries, greek fries, all of their salads, macaroni cheese bites, spanikopita, baklava, and lots of others that I am forgetting. As a vegetarian, I always appreciate variety because all too often we're restricted to only a few things on the menu.Kid-friendliness: My brother loves it here! Lots of kid-friendly food options. Picky eater approved!Wheelchair accessibility: There are no steps leading into the restaurant. The door is not too heavy for me to pull open from my chair (granted, I am only a part-time user and use my cane/rollator the rest of the time, so I am still fairly strong . The tables aren't too close together they are always willing to pull a chair out of the way for me so I can sit at one.Dietary restrictions: I have very few dietary restrictions (aside from lactose intolerance and vegetarianism . That said, most of the food is dairy free can be modified for dietary needs. I am not sure about cross-contamination for those who are gluten intolerant and/or have nut allergies, so that might be something to ask about if you deal with those things."
