"Tucked into the back/side of the little parking lot, this restaurant could easily be passed by on accident. It's definitely worth checking out though. There's only two menu items available each day and they sell out fast. When I was there the chicken pho was sold out and only the pnompenh soup was available. The extra bits of meat in the soup were okay, but the rich and luxurious broth was the scene stealer. Some of the best broth I've had. Noodles retained their snap. Delicious, hearty meal. I'll definitely be back on different days to try the other offerings."

Such friendly service and amazing, delicious food! ⅓ of the menu was sold out by 9a, so treat this like an early breakfast spot if you want the best stuff

Fresh and authentic Vietnamese soups They are open from 8:00 but usually sell out by noon. This is a no frill. Friendly, nice people and fresh food. Simple settings. A bit hard to find parking. View menu

I had been wanting to try the turbulent noodle soup on Sundays for a long time, and I finally did not leave disappointed! The atmosphere was great, the service was quick, and the food was incredibly delicious.

If you're looking to explore a variety of incredible Vietnamese soups, this place comes highly recommended! The menu rotates, so be sure to check it out before your visit. The owner's staff is very friendly, and we try to eat here every Sunday. The dishes are fantastic!

it is a place with a limited ever rotating menu, specializing in only 2 or 3 dishes per day! I got crab noodles suppe, the broth was really rich and tasty. thicker rice and noodles were also nice. it is not a ruffle and clean with fast service. would, fortunately, come back here at any time. This was my first time visiting the restaurant, and we were unaware that there are only two options available each day. Unfortunately, the chicken pho was already sold out on this Friday, leaving us with just one choice. However, the pnompenh noodle soup we ended up ordering was absolutely incredible, boasting one of the best broths I've ever tasted in Portland. I think I’ve found my new favorite soup spot!

If you're looking for a restaurant with a menu that focuses solely on the best of the best, this is the spot for you. It's the complete opposite of The Cheesecake Factory, featuring just two options each day instead of an overwhelming 47-page menu. I promise, these two selections will be some of the finest dishes you’ve ever tasted. Pick whichever you like, but make sure to try each day's offerings at some point!

"Boxcar Pizza does creative all vegan pizza done Detroit style. I am from NY and had plenty of pizza there in the day before I was vegan. Pizza and NY are synonymous. I would love to check out Screamer's Pizza in NY next time I am there.I have only had Detroit Pizza one other time and happened to be vegan. It was alright when I had it then. I have been to Detroit where the talented rapper Eminem is from. Detroit is where the pinball like running back legend Detroit Lion Barry Sanders played. Detroit is where I was in awe when I saw the Diego Rivera murals there. Detroit isn't known for it's pizza yet lately Detroit pizza seems to be getting popular.Detroit Pizza is like a cross between Sicilian and Chicago deep dish yet comes in a square with four slices. Boxcar Pizza was named best vegan pizza this past year in Veg News magazine so had great expectations coming here. Boxcar Pizza delivered! I went with the Viktor Vaughn pizza. The pizza came with mozzarella, cheddar, kale, red onions, ricotta, mama lil's peppers, and pesto. I got it with a side of red sauce for dipping which I recommend. The pizza was very tasty. Plenty of flavor. It was a bit rich and filling for plenty of vegan cheese was used. Perhaps a touch less vegan cheese and other pizza pies with more veggies would be nice. I like that this pizza had plenty of veggies on it. I just got this and was able to eat it all. Each pizza serves one to two depending on your appetite. If you come with a friend or spouse might be good to split one and order a Kale Caesar salad to share.Viktor Vaughn is the real name of Dr. Doom who happens to be the arch enemy of the Fantastic Four in the Marvel Comics. Viktor Vaughn is also a British rapper. There are many different kinds of pizza here and am so happy that a vegan pizza place delivers tasty vegan pizza. I hope they open up branches in other cities.Recommended!"
