Tremendous meal. All the food was fantastic and the cocktails were delicious as well. Very approachable Korean food.

While waiting for a table with a friend, a couple came behind us, said they didn't have a reservation but knew one of the staff who works there, so the waitress gave them a table. When we confronted her about it she did nothing. So we left because this isn't a place that cares.

Haenyeo does not disappoint. I have come to dine in over the years and I have never been let down. I have followed the owner throughout her career in NY because the food is that good. Korean fusion cuisine in a fine dining atmosphere. Food are very tasty and love the crispy wings, Korean style pancakes, black seabass, crescent duck breast and last the dessert sugar dusted beignets is the bomb. Dukboki Fundido is one the favorites for most people but too spicy for me. Overall is great experience. Not a very big restaurant but good size. Service is excellent.

If you’re looking for a delectable food experience then Haenyo is for you. The squid appetizer is fit for royalty, the rib eye will make you want to raise your own cows, and the sashimi is so fresh you would think the ocean is in the back yard. When I tell you the food is nothing short of spectacular, its not fake news. If your looking for a food experience worth leaving home for Haenyo is it. And the ambiance is quaint and cozy. This place is a must try!

My friends and I chose this spot to reunite after decades of only texting and emailing. Definitely make a reservation in advance and if you want privacy, the outside pods are lovely, too. The food, drinks, and service were beyond my wildest expectations. I rarely venture out to BK, but this will definitely be a recurring self-care treat.
