"I had a terrible experience at this restaurant! I found a sunflower seed with the shell in my takeout order. When I called to speak with the manager, he was quite rude. Initially, he insisted that they don’t use sunflower seeds in their food. After some back-and-forth, he then admitted that they do use sunflower seeds in their rice but usually grind them—suggesting that perhaps this one hadn’t been properly processed. Eventually, he reverted to claiming they don’t use sunflower seeds at all. We were simply trying to bring this issue to his attention, but he seemed more concerned about what we wanted, as if we were trying to extract money from him. He became disrespectful towards my wife, and when I got on the line, he even threatened to call the police. It was clear that there’s a lack of respect, particularly towards women, and it felt like they were more interested in making money than serving their customers. I should have taken it as a warning when I noticed the cooks in the back laughing and joking loudly, as it gave off an unprofessional vibe."

The food was fantastic, and the staff was very friendly. They offered great recommendations for newcomers. I had the chicken and lamb served over rice, and it was delicious.

The lamb gyro was excellent! I like that it came in a thin wrap with lots of meat, salad, onions and chopped tomatoes covered with a white sauce. The staff is very friendly, and the wait time was about 10min. I highly recommend the place.

Lightly seasoned for halal, making this a healthier halal option.Ordered to go, didn't check my bag for the pita bread I paid for and ofcourse I found out when I got home too far to go back.Check your bags if you're ordering to go.Food is good. Just good.Vegetarian options: Falafel

Stopped by here for a quick bite after finding not a lot of our regular spots open on Sunday. WE ARE SO HAPPY WE DID! We ordered the chicken over rice with a side of seasoned fries. The food was delicious and you can really tell it’s fresh. We left happy, full and will definitely make this one of our regular spots now! View menu

Delicious! I stopped in for lunch and ordered a Beef Kabob Wrap with Seasoned Fries. It was a good 15 minute wait for the food, but it’s prepared nice and fresh. The establishment is very clean and orderly and the customer service is great. $9.00 beef kabob, $4.00 seasoned fries, $1.04 sales tax at 8%, $0.52 credit card processing fee, $2.18 tip. Total $16.74

This restaurant is the epitome of mediocrity. When it comes to halal chicken and rice places, there are at least five others I would recommend before this one. The portion sizes are disappointing; I ordered a lamb skewer salad ($14) and received just five small cubes of meat. The "seasoned" fries tasted like they came straight from a freezer bag, and they didn't even bother to add any salt. While the seating area is nice, that's about all this place has going for it. I suggest sticking with Shah's instead.

Not sure why there wasn 't more people, maybe because most people don 't know what to order..... Highly recommend the chicken and rice. It 's similar to halal guys in NYC but It 's not grilled up burned , yet it 's still flavorful. My kids like it (of course my little one asked for hamburger and fries, and i was d enough to listen to her, and she ended up eating my chicken and rice cause it 's better than the Hamburger, which is not bad). For foodie, always add a sprinkle of the red sauce. Will definitely come back View menu

Visiting Albany, we decided to stop at Halal Grub for some burgers. The place looked clean and inviting. There was ample seating available and since it?s located in a plaza, there was parking available too. If you want to eat here, I suggest you call in advance to order. We waited about 40 minutes for four burgers to come out. The server was polite and explained that they had a lot of delivery orders to prepare. The meat in the burgers were fresh. The crispy chicken sandwich, however, left a lot to be desired. It only had lettuce and tomato, and was pretty dry. The grub burger comes with onion rings in it. They have fountain soda so you can refill your drinks but we found that we got full ju...

"We had requested the rounded corner booth in the main dining room and arrived 20 minutes early, planning to enjoy a cocktail at the bar. But instead, we were seated at a booth right next to our preferred one. A couple finished their meal shortly after we sat down, well before our 6:30 reservation. We ordered a Beefeater gin and tonic and a very dry Beefeater martini. Both drinks had an unusual, perfume-like scent that was quite off-putting. My wife sent her drink back, and I decided to switch to a Bombay martini, but the same strange floral fragrance persisted. I regularly enjoy Beefeater and Bombay dry martinis and have never experienced this odd aftertaste before. For my main course, the Duck and Porcini confit ragu had hardly any duck in it. There were only a few shreds of duck meat hidden in the tagliatelle, but no substantial pieces. My wife’s Pesto and Shrimp dish arrived swimming in a broth. While this might be a traditional way to serve it, there was no mention of broth on the menu. She had expected the pesto to be coated on the pasta and oily, rather than soupy. As much as we have loved Capriccio over the past three decades, this experience was disappointing. We didn't even stay for dessert. We'll certainly return, but I hope to avoid writing another negative review. I usually don’t share my thoughts unless absolutely necessary, but I felt compelled to do so this time."
