Halfway House - Menu

Friendly atmosphere with a great location and a wonderful staff. The food and drinks are excellent. I've visited multiple times and will definitely come back.

Was excited to eat here after i was told it was good. Came in, was sat and given menus. We then sat there and stared at our menus for 20 minutes without anyone coming over. Our patience ran out and we left. I hope no one else gets treated like that.

I really really want to like this place....we visit almost everytime we are in town and the food is just so inconsistent. We love the atmosphere of the place, the folks who work there are super nice and service is always quick and friendly but the food......I will try it again. View menu

We love going to the Halfway House. We recently moved right down the road and can honestly say there isn't anything better than a Halfway House dinner after a long day of work! The food is always great and the staff friendly. The owners make you feel like family. It's just a wonderful place to spend some time.

The food here is outstanding, with a wide variety of options available. The steaks are cooked to perfection, and the wraps are delicious. The soups are delightful as well. It's a fantastic place to bring family and friends, and the staff's hospitality is top-notch. The atmosphere is cozy, making it our favorite place to eat.

He ordered a fish dinner, which came with a tiny piece of fish, a small potato, and overcooked corn. We could overhear other diners complaining to their waitstaff as well. To top it all off, our table was against a wall, and we had small ants crawling on it. When we mentioned this to a waitress, she just replied, “Wow, okay,” and walked off. We ended up here almost as a consolation, I was taking my Mom out for a long waited Mother 's Day celebration. But the restaurant we planned on going to didn 't take reservations and when we arrived they had a 90 minute wait. So after doing a search we found very few restaurants in the area are closed during the week!! But the Halfway House was open, we drove over and was pleasantly surprised by calm quiet atmosphere. We both enjoyed the steak tips in a burgundy sauce. I would recommend them to anyone. Service was GREAT!! Thank you for saving our evening!!!

Very good! I hadn’t been here since before COVID and thought they were permanently closed. While passing by, I saw that they were open, so I decided to stop in for a quick bite. I only ordered the chicken strips and some chili wings. Everything was hot and delicious, although the crock of chili could have been served hotter. Plus, the portion size of the chili felt a bit small compared to the price difference versus a cup. The wings, however, were large and sold by the pound. I had seven beautiful wings that were cooked to a perfect crisp, just as I requested. I’m really glad I found the Halfway House again, and I’ll definitely be back!

They have the best Taco bowls I have ever had. Bowl is deep fried and made to order. It is the main reason I come here. They don't use the cheap Iceberg style lettuce. It is usually spring leaves. I usually can't finish the whole thing because it is such a big meal. Pizza seems like the cheap boxed frozen kind with thin crust so we tend to order burgers for the kids, instead of their own pizza. Husband says he would rate the burgers as fair. (This is from a past review. The pizza might have been changed since then.
