"The Harriets Family Restaurant on the ground floor of the Hotel Harrington. was way over priced for the breakfast buffet. Powdered eggs, chewy bacon, the chipped beef gravy had a funny taste and the website shows 11.95 and was charged 15.95.Everything on the menu was $4 more then the website. Told the girl at the check out how bad the food is and the price differenceand no offer of compensation. Just took my cc and ran the bill. Horrible food. The waitress never even came to check on us.Hubby and I each paid for a plate of food that was not edible and left our plates 80% full. Couldn't even eat what we put on ourplates. Ya know we don't mind the cost IF the food is good. Given the location to the hotel it could have been better but oddsof having repeat customers is slim so I guess they just don't care. Same for the hotel. Just old and run down. Nothing historicabout that. Stay away."

The ham and cheese omelet was big. It was also very full of shaved ham. Two slices of toast and half a plate of home fries were included. I could not eat all of it. It was good and made you feel better about the price. It is a hole in the wall, but agood place to load up for the day.

This place was awful. Orange Juice was 95% water, $12.95 for 2 egg breakfast, the NY Strip was ordered medium but was well done. Server never returned to the table after taking our order, someone else dropped the food off and server never botheredseeing if it was OK or needed anything. Didn't even bring the check, we just went to the counter and paid.

i personally loved this restaurant! not only did it look like it was designed in the 1800?s, the bathroom ceiling was also dripping! i enjoyed the overcooked spaghetti and the salad that was more crunchy than my dead grandpas left foot. the pink lemonade tasted like water, and i don?t think anyone has ever cleaned the floors! definitely go to harriet?s for a musty, humid, and absolutely dog water meal!

Someone I knew bravely tried the brown meat, he couldn?t hold it down and then a sever with no shoes took his plate. The bathroom situation was below expectations, even though I had already read the reviews and came in expecting the worst. I think their were roaches. Not to forget the ketchup with a date of 20 years ago. I was actively celebrating when I heard we didn?t have to go back, thankful I would have the possibly of actually eating on my school field trip. Please View menu

Starting it off, I didn?t read the reviews of this place until I sat down and ordered my food. But I got to say you get what you pay for, it?s connected to a hotel of course it?s going to be like hotel breakfast food. It wasn?t great but it wasn?t bad, the eggs tasted like eggs (and weren't slimy) and the steak didn?t have much flavor until I added the A1 sauce. The home fries were potato wedges and they were really good and the bacon just tasted and looked like hotel buffet

I had the worst dining experience at this restaurant. The food was unappetizing, the service was poor, and I even noticed a server working without any shoes. One of my friends discovered hair in her food, and a few others found hair in their desserts as well. The cups had an unpleasant chlorine smell. The bathrooms were in a dreadful state, with a terrible odor, and they were so dirty that I could’ve skated on the floor. I strongly believe this restaurant should be shut down! While some might be tempted to try it, I urge you not to. It's not worth the risk! View menu

This restaurant has to be one of the best restaurants I've been too. The staff are allowed to walk barefoot. No Shoes, No Problems right? A customer got a bone in their boneless chicken. What a surprise! My health teacher said that she only trustedthe fries. My friends found pieces of hair in their cake and food. Many other fellow customers had ketchup from 2002! The cupssmelled like chlorine! Who doesn't love swimming right. What I suppose was meat looked so unappetizing that I wanted to vomit. The bathroom could've been used as a slip-n-slide. Highly recommend this restaurant if you want to have stomach problems.

This restaurant might be one of the most memorable places I've visited. The staff actually walk around barefoot—talk about a unique approach! However, we did encounter a rather surprising moment when a customer discovered a bone in their "boneless" chicken. My health teacher once mentioned that she only trusted the fries here, and after what I witnessed, I can understand why. My friends found hair in their cake and other dishes, which was quite off-putting. Moreover, several customers complained about ketchup that appeared to be from 2002! To top it all off, the cups had a strong smell of chlorine—because who doesn't enjoy a good swim, right? As for the meat, it looked so unappetizing that I...
