First time in Heritage House and have lived here 31 years. Ordered a California omelet and was disappointed. Hardly any cheese, mushrooms and tomatoes leaked their juices onto the plate. Potatoes were cut into little squares and I expected home fries, but got those. Service was excellent, only had to wait 10 minutes to be seated. Wait staff was happy and friendly and helpful. I absolutely love this place! I highly recommend trying the Chicken Fried Steak (it's real steak) served with a waffle. The waffle is something special—made with magic, you really have to taste it for yourself! The drip coffee is excellent too. I’ve also had the corned beef, and it was tasty as well. Be aware that wait times can be up to 30 minutes, so be prepared for that. This restaurant is located in a historic area, near a landmark from the 1800s. There are also many lovely shops and other dining options nearby.
