"I say this as kindly as I can... I am from out of town, roughly an hour or so away. I was looking for lunch on a Tuesday around 12:30ish and decided to try this place due to the amount of reviews and 4 star rating. Wonderful selection of food. Biggest Ihave seen. Staff was friendly and the atmosphere was quiet and calm even with many people. The reason for my low rating isbecause the food had zero flavor. It all tasted like oil and that's it. I even tried several options and it all had no flavor. My fiancé even agreed and he usually loves Chinese/Hibachi food. I'd pass honestly unless you want to get full without worryingabout flavor."

They had a verity of food but it was just bland. What happened to the Asian spice. Found out a day later that they had given me someone else's credit...

The best time to eat at this restaurant is after 3:30am when they have a wider selection for dinner. Amy, our favorite waitress, is both sweet and efficient. I even tried to learn Chinese so we could communicate better, but your English is better than my Chinese. View menu

Service was quick and efficient. We arrived 1 hour and 20 minutes before closing on a Thursday night. As expected with a late hour, the selection was leaner than during the dinner rush, but there was still plenty to choose from. The sushi is decent forbuffet sushi. The creamed spinach is incredible. Overall an above-average Hibachi Buffet. We will be back anytime we are needinga quick bite to eat.

Never going back. The food is good but they have started pressuring for tips. They hover and watch and then start yelling at each other when you go to pay. I will leave a tip if I feel the service is good but if you start pressuring before I am finishedeating, then you can forget it. This is also why we quit going to the other buffet across town. The very same. Haven't beenback there and this was my last trip here.

"Overall our experience was a 5 star evening. The food was amazing, and the waiter was exceptional. The variety of menu items was great and service was fast but not in a rushed atmosphere. Would definitely recommend and look forward to visiting when we return to Hot Springs. We had two issues that made it difficult to give a 5 star overall rating. We had reservations at 6pm for 2 and were seated at a small table next to another four topper. There were two lovely booths unoccupied across from us and when asked about them were told they were being held for 7pm reservations. They offered to put us upstairs, which we did, and it was a bar atmosphere with a line of very bright lights shining above us. As mentioned, the food and wait service was amazing but it put a bit of a damper on the evening, especially since we had made reservations. At $250 for two people, it would seem a reservation would allow for a nicer table. Also, at 6pm, they were out of several of their specials which is hard to understand at such an early time on a Friday evening. There was an incredible outdoor bar area that we didn't know existed and would loved to have had a drink in before dinner. Fireplace, great atmosphere, clear plastic on outdoor walls to maintain heat but allow for an outdoor experience, all the pluses! Again, loved our evening, just would have been perfect had not these two items come up."

"The restaurant itself was beautiful and the service was very good. The grilled wedge salad was exceptional as was the cheesecake. I had the smoked pork chop. It was tasty but tough and literally the smallest pork chop I have ever been served. The real problem was with my husband 's Hunters Chicken. The staff indicated that it was an addition to the new fall menu. Unfortunately the chef did not perfect the recipe because it was literally too salty to eat. My husband even made me try it because he was in complete disbelief. He had no choice but to send it back. It was completely uneatable. We are in our sixty 's and have traveled the world. Neither of us have ever sent food back. The waitress handled the situation very gracefully and invited my husband to make another selection. Because she indicated that a new chicken would taste the same, and my husband doesn 't eat red meat, he was forced to order the sea bass. Unfortunately he didn 't enjoy the fish but that is beside the point. We have had plenty of mediocre meals without complaining. That 's the risk you take when you try a new place. The real problem arose when we got our bill. The restaurant charged us full price for the sea bass $55) while the chicken only cost $33). That stung and pardon the pun left a real bad taste in our mouths. I understand that restaurants need to make money and margins are slim, but that was just wrong. I will never go back just on principle. It 's not good business nor is it polite to treat customers that way. I reached out to them privately to let them know I was not satisfied, and give them an opportunity to make it right, but got no response. That is unfortunate."

"If I could only come back to Hot Springs so that I can keep visiting this place to try the amazing German fare they have!! Recommend getting a reservation because they don't really consider walk-ins! We came at our reserved time slot and were seated immediately. The server took some time to get to us though. I ordered the cheese schnitzel with veal and a side of the potato pancake and brussel sprouts. My friend ordered the chicken Dianne with a side of sauerkraut and the noodle spaetzle. I also ordered the lemon flavored Steigel. Everything was AMAZING! You see that food on the plate? I cleaned my plate so that they wouldn't even have to wash it! The cheese sauce was so so good and the veal was perfectly cooked and breaded and fried. The brussel sprouts were excellent. The potato pancake didn't have much flavor by itself but with the cheese sauce from my schnitzel, it was very very good! My friend's chicken Dianne was also good but the sauce wasn't as good as my cheese sauce. I'm not a fan of sauerkraut but the noodle spaetzle was my first time trying and it was delicious. Finally, I hate beer and cannot stand it but have finally found one that is light enough and flavored enough to not taste like beer! For all you beer-dislikers, please try the Steigel lemon. They also have other fruity flavors. Glad we made it here and will definitely eat again if I come back to Hot Springs!"
