Small place in a small town, nice big chicken wings with good flavor, Hilary is a great bartender, not your typical hole in the wall dive bar type bartender she knows her stuff and makes a great cocktail

This was my second visit. They did not get my order correct and frankly it wasn't all that. I will continue to visit when in the area for drinks. The bar itself is great. Definitely take a look if in the area. Lots of history there. View menu

Well we just checked into the hotel and decided to look for a place to have a beer and found this place known as The Hideout Saloon! : is a historic location dating back to the early 1900s and heart of the building is a wall that was built by theChinese immigrants in this area. And the place is plastered with $1 bills dating back to the 1900s!

We just wanted to have a little something to eat and drink in the evening and that's why we ended up here. Very rustic atmosphere with lots of dollar bills on the wall. The staff is very friendly and open to tourists, although many locals also come here. We ate a few tacos and they were very tasty, and the beer and cocktail we had were also very good. Clear recommendation if you are in Mariposa. Service: 5

Well, it is certainly not lacking for character! It's a funky little place in the basement that you enter from the rear of the building. When you go in, go all the way back to the bar to get menus and to order. The customers were an interesting mix of tourists and locals and the music was not too loud. Everything on the menu looks very creative and they have a good selection of local brews. Everything we ordered was delicious and well presented. Try one of their individual pizzas! View menu

It's a dive bar, and yes five stars. Hear me out. The pub slider sandwich was delicious. The service was helpful and quick. It's the only restaurant open past 9pm. The entrance is around the corner on 6th avenue, down stairs, past the pool table,through the narrow doorway, order at the bar to the left. The music will be loud, take ear plugs or take your food to go. There are dollar bills stuck everywhere. In the end, the food is delicious, well prepared, well plated, and the peoplewelcoming. Visited this place over twice the weekend while on a trip to Yosemite and absolutely loved it. It has a very unique, and old school vibe something that is being lost in the age of bar or cafe chains. The decor is absolutely unique, with dollar orcurrency bills stuck by visitors along with personalised messages. The music can be loud, considering that the place is small but it wasn?t very uncomfortable at all. The food was very good. Walt from Walt's Adventures reporting from Mariposa, California.My adventuring party saw a small chalkboard sign for the Hideout Saloon. We choose to venture forth to seek out the Hideout. We followed the small signs off the main street, down a stairway and onto an outside eating area. We were welcomed as family upon entering the saloon. The entire establishment was covered with dollar bills with each one from previous patrons and each one had different signatures or messages.
