"Gracie, our elevator operator, was friendly and knowledgeable. The experience was far superior to the Space Needle, and we didn't have to compete for photo spots at the windows. The 360° views of the city were absolutely spectacular. There’s also a bar offering drinks and snacks if you’re interested, along with clean restrooms. We almost stayed to watch the sunset, but we had dinner plans with friends, so that's definitely on our agenda for next time—it would have been incredible! I highly recommend this place for everyone, including families, as there are interactive kiosks to keep the kids entertained and plenty of space to move around. Overall, the views were much better and significantly more affordable than the Space Needle once you factor in food and parking. Additionally, there’s a discount for seniors and Washington residents. I definitely recommend visiting during the weekdays for a more enjoyable experience."

Amazing 360 degree views of Seattle and beyond! Makes the Space Needle look tiny from up there, and it's also nice that they offer food and beverages up there. Worth the cost of admission and uncrowded, even on the Saturday we went.

How fun! Went there with my friends on a weekend. The view is astonishing, especially on the water side and downtown side. There is a bar/restaurant in the observatory, I can imagine having meals there enjoying the sunset/night view would be awesome tooPrice for entry: $20

Seattle is famous for Starbucks and overall coffee culture, grunge music scene, the Seahawks, the Space Needle, Pike Place Market, and is headquarters of a lot of the tech industry. The Sky View Observatory offers amazing 360° views of this city and surrounding mountains. You can get refreshments and food from its café. The restrooms are also clean.

Had a great experience there with the good view and friendly staffs. Kinda wish they open till a bit later though, or it’s pretty much impossible to see the sunset and the night view when visiting during the summer. They also need to upgrade their shops/items since most tickets come with a 5 or 10 dollar voucher yet there were not many good options to purchase. View menu

We purchased this as a combo with the argosy cruise (which was also fantastic) The views were amazing from up here and this is higher up than the space needle. So you can see the whole city and beyond. They are pretty informative on identify local landmarks. There is a small cafe on the top for drinks and there are seats located throughout to sit down and take it all in.

My husband has been to Seattle multiple times and, for my first trip, he had planned to take me to the Space Needle. A local said to us, The Space Needle is a tourist trap. Go to Columbia Center instead. I am so glad we were told about this observatory. My husband confirmed that the Columbia Center has better views than the Space Needle. We paid for general admission on a clear and sunny Saturday, and we were surprised to find that it was not crowded at all. I highly recommend!

The view is undoubtedly stunning, but the prices are definitely on the high side. The bar has a very limited selection of drinks and food options. When we visited, it was hardly busy, which was a nice bonus. However, I found it a bit frustrating when we discovered that there were reserved tables for guests with more expensive tickets. We weren't informed about this beforehand, and after we settled into one of the tables, the announcement over the speaker stated that only those with the right tickets could occupy them. To clarify, the place was mostly empty, and there were plenty of other reserved tables available, so it felt unwarranted, especially since we had already ordered drinks. View menu

Stunning building with incredible 360 degree views but they seem to be really understaffed. We went in the evening and had to wait at the check-in for a while before any staff came because they do not have enough people to operate the elevator and manage ticketing. We were told by an employee that the beverage service closed 30 minutes before the observatory but when we tried to order they bar staff said they closed an hour early do to understaffing. Our ticket price included vouchers for the restaurant but they couldn’t be used or exchanged for anything. For the money I would recommend the smith tower observatory instead, it’s a more elegant experience and ties in bits of Seattles history.

The view from the observatory is absolutely breathtaking. We were able to take in the entire cityscape, and on a clear day, Mount Rainier was visible as well, creating an unforgettable sight. The observatory itself is well-maintained, providing a comfortable and enjoyable environment for all visitors. I highly recommend a visit to the Colombia Center Sky View Observatory. The warmth and hospitality of the staff greatly enhanced our experience, and the view is something that should not be missed. If you're planning a trip to Seattle, you can easily access the observatory with the Seattle CityPASS or C3 passes. Alternatively, tickets are available for purchase at a reasonable price at the ent...
