HONEST REVIEW: Hillman's is a family owned bakery and local favorite for many. Walking in, there's lots to see – “like a kid in a candy store”. But ultimately what counts most for me is the taste. After a few tries over the past 5 years, I've found that their dessert pies, donuts and pastries are very bland seriously lack flavor! When eating a great pastry, you should know immediately after your first bite what flavor it is and be “wow’d” and anxious for another bite − but I don't get this at all with Hillman's.
