"Ever since the new owners took over this previously struggling coffee stand and transformed it, everything has improved drastically! I love their sweet blended drinks, which I believe are better than any other coffee shop in our area. I was thrilled to discover that they now offer Turkey Bacon Sandwiches on their menu, catering to my specific tastes. Even if there's a line, I am more than willing to wait because their customer service and quality of products are unmatched. If you're in the area, you simply must give them a try for yourself!"

I recently started my job in the neighborhood and arrived early, so I decided to stop by this restaurant for some coffee and breakfast. Despite being busy with multiple DoorDash orders, the staff managed to serve me my food and coffee promptly. The coffee was fantastic, and the breakfast panini was delicious. I definitely intend on returning in the future.

Hilltop is a charming coffee shop conveniently located for Bates students. They have a great selection of coffee and affordable sandwiches for breakfast and lunch. The Turkey Cheese Croissant is only $2.50 and delicious. The cozy seating area is perfect for a quick meal and the staff is friendly and attentive. They really make you feel welcome and at home. I've only been once but my honest opinion is that between Starbucks and Hilltop Coffee Bar, Hilltop will win everytime. Their white chocolate mocha is very smooth, their prices are excellent and, bonus points, they're locally owned and operated. The only thing that might throw people off is that they're only operating a pick up window and they only have street parking (not important to me). I'm definitely going back.
