The food was as good as always but there was a time you could taste the Hickory smoked not sure what happened to that but it was good all the same.

Was not even close to the taste a year ago , not sure why. But, we will go to a different buffet for fried chicken and pulled pork barbecue, even the sauces tasted not as good. It's really a shame b/c not only do I use the for my family functions but atchurch as well.

This is the best BBQ buffet I've ever had, with excellent service and a lovely atmosphere! It feels just like stepping into Grandma's house during the holidays! There's an abundance of delicious food and desserts, and it's all-you-can-eat! They also offer a menu for those who prefer to order instead of opting for the buffet. I absolutely love this place and will make a point to visit every time I'm in the area! I ordered the seafood platter, which included oysters and shrimp, along with coleslaw, fries, and tartar sauce. The menu offers a choice between large or small, but that just indicates the number of shrimp rather than their size—most of the shrimp were medium-sized. My wife chose the fried chicken and mentioned it reminded her of her mother's cooking. The portions were generous and reasonably priced, and the service was quick and friendly. The staff were very nice. The building itself resembles a converted shed or garage, so it's not fancy. I’m not a fan of buffets, so I can't provide feedback on that.

However, I am not a fan of their buffet, mainly because they don’t offer homemade salad dressings. Many local BBQ buffets at least provide homemade buttermilk ranch, but Hog Heaven uses pre-packaged Ken's Steakhouse Ranch, which is a complete turn-off for me. I’d like to see a wider selection on the buffet, particularly a larger salad bar with more fresh vegetables, and maybe even some homemade croutons? The buffet is generally smaller than those at other BBQ places just a few miles north. During my last visit for a late lunch, I found the salad bar was being restocked, so there was no salad available. All I had was BBQ and a piece of fried chicken.
