"The Hollywood Cafe is a small diner in Fisherman's Wharf area. We went for a late breakfast/early lunch. Almost every table was full inside along with their outdoor seating. Service was good and we all received our food timely despite how busy they were. I had the club sandwich with hash browns instead of fries. Outstanding sandwich with perfect hash browns. My wife had a fruit bowl which was the largest and most delicious we had ever seen. The grandkids had pancakes. This was a great place and highly recommended."

We ate breakfast here every morning while in San Francisco. The food is excellent, the service is fast so you can get started on your day and my family loved it! Definitely try the Hollywood Hashbrowns!

Excellent food and lots of seating choices, especially outside. Our waiter was fast, efficient and accurate (usually you can get 2 of these). Fresh squeezed orange juice and good coffee. I don 't understand the comments that talk about fresh and quality ingredients. They achieved the feat of cooking a tasteless omelette. Tasteless eggs!! I didn 't know it existed... The foam that floats above a vending machine-style coffee is also an interesting concept for a cappuccino. At $5 I wouldn 't have said anything, but $25 is a lack of respect for the customer

I don't recommend the place as the service was pretty bad. As they usually have people queuing outside, they rush you to end up saying if you want the rest of your food to go when you haven't finished yet!! They insist that you want something else and they bring you the bill to collect quickly and kick you out. The food is nothing out of this world for the price... the worst of all is that they sneak the 18% tip out of your face. Don't waste your time going!
