"On Sunday afternoon around 4pm, my family and I stopped by this McDonald's location. There were plenty of staff members, about 7-8 in total. There were two tables of customers, one of whom seemed to be the boyfriend of one of the young workers. Our group of 7, including 4 small grandchildren, ordered ice cream, shakes, and a soda. We waited inside for over 20 minutes with no sign of our order being prepared. It wasn't until I inquired with one of the employees, who appeared to be aimlessly walking around, that I was informed they had run out of ice cream and were in the process of replacing it. Unfortunately, it seemed that this task had just begun, despite the numerous staff members who seemed to be doing very little.
Clearly, there was a lack of proper management and understanding of customer service among the employees. Eventually, the manager came out and was very friendly, but it was too late to salvage our experience. We decided to have our grandchildren wait in the car, as it was taking far too long for a simple dessert in a nearly empty McDonald's.
It was also noted that there was little drive-through traffic, which typically receives priority over in-store customers. It appears that the owner of this McDonald's franchise may not be maximizing their profits due to the inefficiencies and lack of responsiveness at this particular location."
