"1. **Food Quality**: The food has significantly improved. The chicken sandwiches and even the kids’ chicken tenders were excellent—crispy and flavorful. We started with the Buffalo chicken fries appetizer, which was delightful, and we also enjoyed the Brussels sprouts appetizer. Overall, everyone in our group of nine was pleased. 2. **Full Bar Added**: They used to only have a self-serve beer and wine wall, but now they’ve introduced a full bar with a decent selection, considering the space is smaller than usual. We only ordered shots, so I can’t comment on the cocktails, but the bartender was friendly and knowledgeable. 3. **Improved Beer Wall**: The old wristband system for getting beer electronically was frustrating and never worked well. Now, they have a card system where you pay by the ounce, which is much better than the previous taste, half pour, and full pour options. Great job on the upgrade! 4. **Atmosphere**: The atmosphere is fantastic—a fun place to hang out with friends or family. They even have board games available for those with kids. 5. **Location**: It’s conveniently located in the heart of downtown Livermore, close to everything. Our kids could play across the street in the lawn area, and we could still keep an eye on them from our seats. Overall, we had a wonderful experience last weekend and will definitely be coming back!"

Pretzel was extremely mid. I ordered additional cheese and if I hadnt, they would have only sent enough cheese to dip 1/2 the pretzel. Wish I ordered the pretzel somewhere else. Picked this place because of the rating.

My family of four ordered the Hops Burger, and we all absolutely loved the juicy, cheesy flavor. We were also excited to try the beer cheese that was supposed to accompany the Fried Mac Cheese, but unfortunately, it was missing from our order. View menu

The Cali Club was amazing, featuring a diverse array of flavors. While the carne asada fries were decent, the combination of beer cheese and seasoned fries made the dish a bit too salty. It would be great if they offered regular nachos, as their tortilla chips are outstanding.

We ate a late dinner here. The service was friendly. The method to get beer was new to me, but once we decided we found it pretty handy with the self service. No longer hope a waiter notices that you are empty. The prices were not inappropriate for food or drinks. The Mac and the cheese balls ordered and they were by far the best I ever had. Crunchy outside with delicious cheese Mac and cheese inside. They were cooked for perfection. I also ordered the BBQ Burger, which was cooked beautifully and still juicy. Everything about eating was much better than average. The drink style is different, but fun and efficient. I absolutely intend to go back here for more.

Super cool place to have a beer with a meal. Went here with some friends and they loved the variety of beers they offer. I personally did not drink so cannot attest to the quality of the drinks, but they smelled tasty. I can indeed say that the foods offered were delicious. I had the mac and cheese balls and hummus platter. The mac and cheese was a good balance of breading, pasta, and cheese. The hummus plater was delicious. The pita bread was crispy and paired well with the hummus they used. It went down silky smooth. The zucchini and red bell pepper were seasoned well with a good charing. I can't say much about the eggplant since I am allergic but my friends devoured it A cool place to hav... View menu

This is my first visit to a self-pour tap room. They give you a card on check-in, and you redeem the card with cash/credit card on your exit. You activate any one of the beer taps with your card, and you pour up to the amount that your glass holds. The system knows how long you keep open the tap, which is translated to how much debit is transferred on to your card. The same system presumably logs what's left of the beer you just poured.Anyway, it was our view that Hops and Sessions is worth going for the beer, not the food. The food's only really there to soak up the alcohol. Next time I'll try the burgers or sandwiches, but I can say that having a salad was not comment-worthy.The good news...

Came here for trivia night and to catch up with the girls for my first time here and it was such a good choice! We made it in time for happy hour and got a bunch of apps to share. We got the bbq burger sliders, popcorn chicken and fries, and zucchini fries. The burger sliders had a really soft and slightly sweet bun and were pretty good but you def have to like bbq sauce for these. The popcorn chicken was just okay, these and the fries were both not quite as good as they got cold. The zucchini fries were the best things we got and the sauce was elite! I got a guava cider and it was delicious. The self-pour tap wall at the back has a good selection and I'll be back to try more of what they ha...

"Really surprising to find such a delicious and unique dining experience on the outskirts of downtown Livermore. I came here on a Saturday evening to celebrate my cousin's birthday with 3 other diners. We were seated outside on their back patio area, which is both well-lit and cozy and open. The one thing that other diners have noted is that there is a very large pepper tree looming over half of the patio area that drops little leaves and plant-things on your food as you're dining. If you are eating there in the evening, it can be hard to see this in the dimmer lighting, so diner beware! We ordered several snacks and appetizers to share, including the Wingen Bakery bread (with butter), fritto of cabbage and pepper, roasted squash with chicken skin, and the potato flatbread. By far, our favorite was the fried potato flatbread, which reminded me of a savory fluffy churro. The creme fraiche and herbs were a nice touch that cut through the grease. I could eat one of these all by myself! It was by far, everyone's favorite because of its unique texture and overall deliciousness. For my main course, I ordered the flat iron steak and was so pleasantly surprised by how tender it was. The butter on top made it super luxurious tasting. I also loved the juicy and sweet early girl roasted tomatoes. And the buttery mashed potatoes were super smooth and delicious as well. I loved this dish and would totally order it again. We ordered three desserts to share: the milk and honey, sourdough churros, the lemon posset with corn and berries. All of it was good, but I especially enjoyed the lemon posset which had great texture and contrast between sweet and tart. This was a lovely dinner in a lovely setting. Service was attentive without being obtrusive. I loved their little touches such as the string lights, wall murals, and blankets as well as the fact that their heat lamps were super strong! I would absolutely return to Range Life and highly recommend it for a great dinner experience!"
