"Our first trip here and our last. We had reservations with no problems there, but everything else was awful. We were seated in a rush(as if we were an imposition) we were told they were rushing people and thats why the menu was very limited, (due to concert next door don't know how something next door concerns them anyway)we were told no appetizers were available. Selecting our items from the limited menu was rushed waitress brought our drinks then asked for our choice immediately. My husband had to ask to get our drinks refilled. Then the check was placed on the table, no how was your meal, do you want a dessert. If you are gonna charge posh prices I expect good service. We were trying to celebrate my birthday. So this ruined it. I don't like giving a bad review because I like to support small businesses, but this one is deserved. The restaurant has a delightful ambiance and serves delicious food. The live performance by Alabama Rain was outstanding! The service was great. I had dinner there and would recommend trying their Meatloaf and Mashed Potatoes, as well as their Mac and Cheese.

I am completely in love with the new breakfast burrito at Hubbard's! It is hands down the best locally owned and operated business. I highly recommend trying it out, you will not be let down. The service is great, the meal type is breakfast, the food is rated a 5, service a 5, and the atmosphere a 5 as well.

A group of barbershop men, women, and friends dined at this restaurant in the evening. I ordered the chopped steak with macaroni and cheese and green beans, which was delicious. My companion had the meat with green beans and Brussels sprouts, which he also enjoyed. Our server, Brittany, kept our tea glasses full throughout the meal. I visited this restaurant for the first time on a Sunday while visiting from out of town. The buffet had a great selection of tasty meats and vegetables, and the dessert options were exceptional. The atmosphere in the historic building was wonderful. I will definitely return when I am in Oxford again. The service was excellent, and I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere a 5 out of 5. The price per person was between $10–20 for lunch.

Thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere of this restaurant. The old style charm was fun. The southern cooked food was good. We enjoyed the country steak with mashed potatoes, pinto beans and fried catfish filets with Mac and cheese. The fried catfish reminded me of homestyle breaded in cornmeal. The staff was so welcoming and friendly. We felt that we were eating with friends. It was a pleasure eating there and speaking with everyone.
