"This was a great place to come for dinner with the family. We are all hooked on the unmistakably strong flavors and spicy dishes from the Hunan Province of China, and came here on the recommendations of some friends. We had made reservations since it was a Saturday night. Upon arrival, we were greeted warmly and immediately led to our large semi-circular table – which was a nice touch for chatting, for serving and for reaching out for second helpings. This restaurant is very non-descript on the outside, but the interior is nice with wooden pillars and carved wood panels separating each table and other areas, themed art on the walls and interesting lighting. Service was quick and efficient with no room for questions or conversations with the servers who are extremely polite, but have minimal communication abilities. Luckily, the owner, who is fluent in English, stays close by to help out when needed. The Menu was large and varied, and appeals to a variety of tastes. We ordered Crispy Spring Rolls and Scallion Pancakes for Appetizers, plus Chicken Dry Pot, Chicken with Hot Red Pepper and Fish Stone Pot with White Rice for the Main Course, and Pumpkin Cakes and Hand-made Red Bean Pastries for Dessert. Everything was plated nicely, pleasing to the eye and each dish was spicy and flavorful. However, it was interesting to note that the food came in a random order – with all our appetizers coming in way after the main dishes. That was sort of OK, and our only complaint was the incredible amount of bones in the fish as well as the chicken. Some of that food was not a stand-out, and we know what NOT to order next time we come, since we will definitely be returning to try some other suggestions made by friends. Recommend a visit to lovers of spicy foods."

Great food and service! Authentic Human flavor confirmed. I would recommend the hotstone fish, dry fried pork intestine and cold dish beef.

I ordered the one which is showing on recipo, I received different version, and the store claimed that I ordered the wrong stuff. What can you say? View menu

regrettably one of the best Chinese restaurants in the environment: the ambiente and decor the true authentic foods (from stinky tofu classic dressed, served to whole fish over hotplates)

The Sticky Rice Shao Mei was literally one of the best things I've ever had. Simply amazing. You can't get much better than this spot... also the Dan Dan noodles are legendary. Great people, great place.

Ordered two entrees, Hunan style fish with Chile sauce and one of their mix and match bowls. The food was good and the place was clean. They don’t split checks. It would be good if they can do that in the future View menu

the dishes generally taste good as it was earlier, but the portions shrink by perhaps 30% to 40% compared to the previous years (vor-COVID). this can be due to inflation. everywhere not that your money is worth.

eating was very good. the service might have been a bit better if they were more polite, but all in all a great experience. 100% recommend the crushed bark with paprika and the spicy fish fillets. absolutely delicious. definitely recommend to stop at this place. now for my standard COVID comments from March 2022. the interior is clean and the seat is beautiful and with distance. all employees wear masks. we felt safe when we were eating inside.
