The American brisket sandwich is absolutely delicious! They have fantastic bacon, along with a great selection of cured meats and jerky, all in an unexpected location. Thanks, everyone!

We stopped by on our way through, but unfortunately, the food was below our expectations. All the meat we had was overcooked and dry, and the sides were not enjoyable either. We won’t be returning for more meals from this place.

I visited this restaurant for the first time yesterday and returned today. The food was outstanding and the service was excellent. The staff, especially the girls, were very friendly and accommodating. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to all my friends. View menu

Food is fantastic and the people are nice but they REALLY need to figure out their deliveries. Every single time I try to place a delivery order I get denied. Even after their worker said they would deliver(while making a delivery to someone else). It’s incredibly frustrating.

eating was excellent, ordered afteros and family bbq dinner (cowboy bohnen reminded me of my mother) warns a fan of the mac salat. cornbread excellent. the vinegar was amazing. I also ordered some meat packages during there. Two weeks. I am so concerned to receive. unfortunately not ready. I understand it'll take time. but will definitely order again!

I decided to give this restaurant another try after they admitted last year that they failed to properly cure our bacon and ham, yet made no effort to make things right. Unfortunately, during my second visit, they turned our pig into sage and hot Italian sausage, despite my specific requests to the contrary. My wife and I recently spent a day exploring the Covered Bridges of Greene County, and during our tour, we made a stop at the Hungarian Smokehouse in Carmichaels. The restaurant is quite small and doesn’t offer indoor seating, but we were lucky that the weather was unusually sunny for mid-winter. We set up at one of the three picnic tables outside. My wife chose the Brisket sandwich, while I went for the Pulled Pork BBQ platter, accompanied by coleslaw, potato salad, and cornbread. Everything was exceptional! We thoroughly enjoyed both the brisket and the pulled pork. It was a fantastic addition to our visit to the historic bridges in the area, and we would definitely stop by again!

Unfortunately, we did not have a positive experience with our deer butchering this year. We harvested a doe during the Muzzleloader season on October 15th and took it in for processing. After three weeks, I reached out to The Smokehouse on November 5th, only to find out that our deer was finally ready. They explained that they were short-staffed and couldn't process it in a timely manner, which was surprising since this is their core business. To make matters worse, the 5 pounds of "hillbilly beef sticks" with hot pepper cheese that we received had a foul odor and tasted terrible. This was our first time dining here and we were definitely not disappointed. My partner and I live about 20 minutes away and have always driven by wanting to try this place. We ordered the family meal for $42, which included 4 half pounds of different meats, four sides, and 6 either Hawaiian rolls or cornbread. We also tried the brisket nachos. While I wish there was a pound of each meat instead of just a half, everything was still delicious. We had mac and cheese x2, potato salad, and hashbrown casserole as our sides.
