"I've been traveling to the USA for over 40 years, and this restaurant serves some of the best food I've ever had—no joke! It's a simple take-out spot with a permanent location, but the owner is an amazing cook. They offer everything from breakfast to burgers, sandwiches, and seafood. Their clams and chips are incredible—giant pieces of the most tender, flavorful shells. You'll be surprised at how quickly you can finish them off; it feels like you could eat your arm up to your elbow before realizing they're gone! I highly recommend it!"

I've been traveling to the USA for over 40 years, and this place serves some of the best food I've ever tasted—no joke! It's a simple take-out spot in a great location, but the owner is an amazing cook. They have a wide variety of options, from breakfast to burgers, sandwiches, and seafood. The clams and chips are especially incredible! The clams are large, juicy, and flavorful, to the point that you might find yourself devouring them without even realizing it. I HIGHLY recommend this place!

"Visiting from rogue valley- The best food I've had on the coast in years! Incredible quality food and service, warm and genuine atmosphere. We were a party of 4 with a toddler and arrived at 6 pm, and all our food arrived promptly, hot and just as ordered. We will definitely be back!"

"If I could give Anna 's 10 stars, I certainly would. A fantastic, original dining experience. Peter is the chef and owner of Anna 's. No airs here, just great cooking. Peter cooks right out there in the open, nothing to hide, why shouldn 't he be proud? The guy is an all-round artist. He designed and installed all the woodwork in the restaurant including the gorgeous curved wood ceiling. His daughter, Carrie, is the efficient, friendly hostess and server. She offered to take a picture of us when she saw me snapping away for this review. So nice! (I 'll add pictures later after I Perusing the menu, you find information such as which drinks are killer and how everything there is prepared with a complete lack of pretension, intermingled brilliantly with Peter 's humorous gems. It 's actually FUN to read the menu. I took one home for a souvenir! The food is very special. Peter clearly takes great pride in plating special dishes you can 't find anywhere else. We started with the made-in-house prosciutto appetizer: lamb, duck and beef prosciutto with duck butter and cracklings to spread on small pieces of fresh rye bread, sliced very thinly. Ooh la la, what a treat! Yum! Their house salad is filled with beautiful, just-picked greens, cucumbers and tomatoes, dressed delicately in a special olive oil, Maldon salt and preserved lemon. It really works. Could possibly be the best salad I 've ever eaten. No joke. All the entrees were excellent. The 4 of us had chicken livers, the flat iron steak, the poached cod and the duck. Everything was prepared to perfection with perfect sides. The meal starts with friendly greetings and warm towels and just continues from there!! Anna 's would be 5 star in downtown Portland. Gold Beach is very fortunate to have this outstanding bistro right in the middle of their town! Don 't miss it! Tip: You MUST make reservations. If you call before 4:30, leave a message. Peter will call back to confirm, and you have to be ready or someone else will gladly take your table!"

"Soooo glad we stopped here for breakfast on our way up the coast. If you just want a simple, well cooked “diner style” breakfast, then this place is for you. Affordable, abundant, and totally charming. And wow very good coffee! I won’t often drink restaurant coffee because it’s usually pretty bad. I left impressed. We received friendly and fast service too. Will absolutely eat here again."

"Sunset Family Pizza is a nice old school pizza parlor in Gold Beach. We ended up coming here for a pizza and some wings after a long hike nearby. The pizza comes out quick and the wings are very flavorful! Rather than traditional table service, you grab a menu when you walk in the door and order at the counter, and they’ll bring the food and drinks to your table. When we were here there was a birthday party going on and several other tables full of people enjoying their meal!"

"Had the calamari appetizer, 2 dinners prime rib and scallops, 2 desserts. Total was $100. Pretty pricey for the area. It's a white tablecloth type establishment, but no one dresses up. The calamari is tentacles and rings, not the steaks. It was cooked well, not dripping in grease. Sauce had a kick to it, which was unexpected. The seasonal pear salad with blue cheese was delicious. Prime rib was cooked well, but my husband remarked that it tasted like it was warmed up from the day before. Scallops were cooked perfectly. Portion sizes are decent. The desserts I would skip tasted like store bought/pre packaged. Service was attentive, but not overbearing. Would visit again when looking for a nice adult night out or special dinner. There are gluten free options. Not really a place for kids either menu wise or atmosphere."
